Kingston 8GB DataTraveler Style USB 2.0 Flash Drive - DTYLB/8GB

This is a great little flash drive - lots of memory in a very compact design. My only issue is that when I slide it open, it doesn't lock in that position. Which means that unless I hold the slider button, it will retract when I attempt to plug it in. Small sacrifice on my part, but the 8GB and great price make up for this tiny shortcoming.

Fast USB Thumb Drive. When I received it, I was hesitant due to the way it was built - it feels cheaply made, but I haven't had any problems.

WWhen you receive this, it looks like like a cheap flash drive and in a way, the design may be but this is the fastest flash drive I have owned.Its speed is second to none. I have 14 of these and this one is the fastest. I have never had trouble with any of them as of yet.

Overall, I'm very happy. For the price, its hard to find a better 8GB flash drive, but this is definitely the slowest one I've ever used. Speed is not really a major issue for me, so I'm happy. To give you some numbers, NTFS formatted, this drive averages just under 9MB/s read and ~4MB/s write. YMMV.

I used free shipping and it came in about a week. The 8GB stick works great. All I did was plug it in and it worked.
