It works on my mac, but my desktop at work doesn't ever even pick it up no matter which usp port I put it into. It's configured FAT32, so software compatibility shouldn't be an issue.

The flash drive is very well made and fits on a key chain perfectly. The only negative that I have to say about it is that it didn't come with a key ring. Therefore, if you put it on a regular size key ring, then it doesn't move around very smoothly. Otherwise an excellent item with a great price. I can't say anything about performance because I bought it for my wife and I'm not sure how much she has actually used it. Highly recommend this drive
