We bought this because data was going to be sent between a number of places, and it was important that the device be clearly visible, so that it could be pulled out of paperwork and also not forgotten and left in a machine. We are sending about 6GB of data around. The device works perfectly in terms of data, but the slider sometimes is a little sticky. I can see the issue that some people might have with the actual plug insertion, but so far we have not had any problems on any machine (VAIO's, Dell's and HP's). This is still the best storage device we've found for our needs. I will add that the price was good and the shipping was extremely fast.

This is a good device for the price. But, if there are other brands like sony or sandisk available for the same price or few bucks more, I would suggest you go for that. Kingston drives perform well but they are little bit coarse when plug them out of USB point.

Nice little package that does everything it is supposed to do. Slider to open is a little tricky, but not terrible. Delivery was prompt, packaging superb, everything as advertised. Good company to deal with.

Bought two to start with, then ordered two more. Agree with oddman about it being hard to plug into some recessed USB ports. I have a similar problem, but it makes contact. If it didn't, I'd just use a USB extension. Mainly use it for my DivX movies to play on my DVD player/home tv - enough storage for about 8 movies! Works like a champ. BUY ONE!

I bought this from Buy.com about 2 weeks ago. So far it has worked flawlessly. Speed is what I expected, size is great. It's definitely worth the money. The only issue I've had so far is with my Dell 620 - the USB jack is recessed into the computer, which makes it hard to plug this drive in. It still works, but it's just more annoying.

I got this for about $17, I couldn't ask for a better deal for this kind of portable storage. Works great, I have used it often. My only beef is that it is pretty cheap plastic... so I need to be very careful with it. I had it plugged in my laptop and I bumped it... is sounded like it cracked a bit. Also the little slide that retracts the USB is small and doesn't slide smoothly. But, like I said, for $17 bucks... it was an amazing deal.

Good drive. Certainly better than those Sandisks with their annoying extra programs feature. But there's really no place to attach a keychain or lanyard unless you run a wire through the little slot.

Works exactly as it should. The only concern I have is that debris may get into the connector since there is no shield or cover for it. It does retract smoothly though and there is a space to add a loop for easy carrying. Good deal for the price.
