I bought six of these when the price dipped below $7 each, and am using them to store MP3's since our player has an SD slot. I find that although the memory cards are 512 Mb, I can only load around 114 songs if I put them straight on the card, but if I put them in a couple of folders before adding them to the card, I can utilize the full capacity of the SD card which is appx 170 songs. I bought one in January. It is a great product and works fine with my camera. And better thing was that eventually I got my rebate after 4 months. Though it was a bit of long time, the check arrived soon after I had complained delay of the rebate.

I bought this card for a HP 50G calculator. With the card installed, the calculator takes about 2 seconds to "boot" up. With it removed, the calculator comes on instantly when the ON button is pressed. Aside from that, 512 MB is HUGE for calculator programs, and it was a great deal at buy.com. Was this review helpful?

The card I have works pretty well with a decent transfer speed and the space is more than adequate for my 5 mp camera. The reason that I gave the value a 1 is because I bought it under the understanding that I would get a rebate. So I buy it and go through all the trouble for the rebate and pay for a stamp and 6 weeks later I get a letter saying they won’t honor my rebate because the date I purchased was not in the specified time. The dates were fine and I even copied the receipt before I sent it and showed the manufacturer but they did not try and get the problem resolved. I then went to BBB.org and complained then all of a sudden they wanted to talk to me about it. By then however I did not want to mess with it. It was only 6 dollars and I felt I had spent more than an hour on it so my time was now outweighing the price. So don’t expect Kingston to give you a rebate, if you can get it cheap without a rebate, then go ahead and buy it. It is better than most of the other cards I have tried. Was this review helpful?
