I wanted to upgrade the RAM in my Dell to the maximum it could handle. Ordered the two 512mb pack from Buy.com for a great price, shipped quickly and installed easily in my PC. I found the best price for this product at Buy.com including free shipping. Installed and using it for more than a month now.
Decided to buy this 512MB memory upgrade for my dimension 2400 after verifying that all the specifications were compatible to my system including the 333Mhz speed of memory, which was also the speed on the original memory on my PC.
Even being a first timer to open a dell box, it was quite easy to install, and the memory was recognized right away after booting up the system. I could see the increase in speed and performance (from 256MB to 768MB after upgrade ) on my PC. I have had no problems at all for more than a month since I installed it and am highly satisfied with it.
Before the upgrade, the MS Flight simulator was slow while loading and running - usually showing a delay in response, but not anymore.
I would recommend other buyers to check all product specs if it is compatibile and supported on your PC before you buy and I am sure you will have no problems. Was this review helpful?
