    I took two of these 512s and popped them into other bank, slots 1 & 3. (My computer came with two 512 PC3200/400mhz in slots 0 & 2.) I pushed them down until the clips snapped in place; closed the computer; and reboot. Windows says it detected my memory; I OK'd it and voilá! I'm now upgraded to 2GB!
