4gb for under $20 is a good value and Kingston is a well known brand name. I got the chip because I wanted to add my own logo to the side (it is customizable on your own - not pre-printed) this is a unique feature I have not seen elsewhere. I was worried about the slide out connector, had bad luck with that style in the past (pushing in when inserting into pc) but Kingston did a great job at making the the connector lock in the out position and easily retractable for traveling and storage. I like that since I no longer will lose the cap. Was this review helpful?

I paid around the same price a couple years ago for a 2GB. After it broke, I had been meaning to buy another. I saw the deal for the Kingston 4GB and grabbed it right away.
I like that it fits when another USB device is plugged into the top port. It also works as I would expect.
I don't really care for 'personalizing' it with the different 'skins', but I'm sure others do. I also like that it comes with a string with a tiny keyring to take along with your keys. Was this review helpful?

Bought two of them. They are both WHITE NOT BLACK. The skin idea is rather juvenile. The housing is very cheap and probably wouldn't stand much punishment. They do work however and speed is very acceptable. There is a recessed area for the lanyard that is not apparent in the photo. Would rather have a key chain connection of some sort. What can you say about 4Gigs under $20.00!! This is a "Plain Jane" model, which is what I prefer. No fancy software to slow me down, just instant storage!! The retractable connector is a must. I always carry this in my pocket, so the protection is nice. Speed is okay, I copied about 300Mb in 30 seconds. Probably there are faster ones on the market, but this is a really good value. I have about a dozen flash drives including a few kingstons that I actually like. This one is cheaply made and difficult to slide open. I like the sliders because the caps are hard to keep up with on the other models. The skin thing is a very cheap gimmick. The clear plastic piece will break easily. The drive itself works fine like most kingstons. I just don't like the cheap construction of the plastic cover.
Bottom line: buy a different version, kingstons are usually beter than this. Was this review helpful?

The product is great. The design is quite innovative design that obviates the need for a lid to the USB flash drive.
There is a little scope for further improvment: although the USB terminal slides in and out of its plastic casing, its end is still exposed to water/moisture.

The drive labelled 4 GB but actually has only 3.7 GB total space. Seller should give the correct information to buyer and explain why some bits are gone for something.

I am not sure if it will survive in the water on if
