5 of 5 GREAT PRICE, GREAT PRODUCT Thursday, February 21, 2008 smart shopper from missouri
I am using the card with a Motorola Q9c. The phone recognized the card immediately and is working perfectly. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and no problems or complaints. Great price on a quality product. Shipping was right on time. Came in original packaging. I would recommend this product to others. This is my first time shopping on this site and will definitely shop here again. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Lock tab is loose and item went defective in a wee Wednesday, February 20, 2008 rockledgeky from Tallahassee FL
The lock slider is very loose and can accidentially lock when you insert it into your SD device (when you use the SD adapter). I believe this is what caused one of the two cards I bought to go bad in about a week.
Buy.com stood by the product and replaced quickly. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Deal enough Tuesday, February 19, 2008 A Customer from Tucson, AZ
I got one at fantastic price.( Now is good enough )
The overall is good.
But maybe I'm a little too greedy, the speed is not as fast as a true SDHC card, due to adaptive to full size SD device itself. Except this, everything else is good. I believe the micro SD will have higher speed though I haven't use it's function yet.
But I will still highly recommend this. Especially when you plug this into you cell or camera in microSD and read it to your computer in SD form. Just one card fits all your need.

5 of 5 excellent for my treo 680 Thursday, February 07, 2008 George from Millburn, NJ
I am using it for my treo 680. I put navigation system maps on it (approx 1 GB) and have enough space for everything else. It would work slowly if ytou try to record a lot of data on it through hotsynch. If I need to record large amount of data (images, mp3s, etc) I just remove it from the treo and use cardwriter for that. So far, pretty happy with it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Storage for Treo 755p Monday, February 04, 2008 A Customer from London, Kentucky
Card worked great in phone but not in laptop. Had to install WindowsXP_KB923293_v4_x86_ENU hotfix before my Dell M90 would recognize it, My wife's Vista laptop read it without any problems though.. Thanks Microsoft. Other than that, I love the card and now I have a NES emulator on my PHONE!!! Was this review helpful?

I have a Treo 700 and this SDHC memory is not supported. Check the Sandisk web site, this new format is not
backwards compatible with legacy SD format host devices. 4GB SDHC cards can only work with SDHC compatible host
devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on
the packaging. Please check with your device manufacturer
for their current/future supported SDHC devices. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 BEWARE of incompatibility Friday, January 18, 2008 John from Doylestown, PA
I ordered this product for use in a Canon Digital Camcorder and when it arrived it kept giving me error messages and would not operate correctly. I returned it to buy.com and they sent a replacement with no problem. It turns out that my camcorder is NOT compatible with High Capacity SD cards. Make sure that before you order this card the device you are wanting it to work with WORKS with it. If your device is pretty current then you have a good chance but if it is even a bit out of date then probably not. I rated the product highly because I can't say truly how it works but I am always satisfied with buy.com and their service and I have always been satisfied with Kingston as well. Just do your homework. Was this review helpful?

2 of 5 It only worked for a week Thursday, January 17, 2008 Mick from Denver CO
It worked for about a week in my Treo 755p. I started having problems with my music playback and discovered that the card was corrupt. I fixed the bad blocks it and the card was good for about 2 hours. Then while doing a backup my Treo locked up. I few seconds later after a reboot the card could not be read by my Treo, my PC or a digital camera. I do not know if it was the card or my phone but the card is unusable now. This flash card works perfectly with my Nikon D80. I able to shoot at 2.5 frames per second. It is about the maximun frame speed which the Nikon D80 can handle. This is very cheap, fast and reliable flash card. I am buying another one. Was this review helpful?

I bought two of these cards for two of my Garmin Nuvi 350's and they both work perfectly. The adapter easily accepts the mini SD and is easily fit into any SD port. Although the Garmin manual says that it's only compatible with SD cards (not SDHC), when the 350 is attached via usb to both my Mac and PC, I can access and download pretty much anything to these cards. I have had one of the cards for 3 months and have had no issues with corruption or loss of data. I can't understand why these sell for so little ($23.95). The normal 4GB SD is usually twice as expensive. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product, NO support (until now) Monday, January 07, 2008 Danny Ronen from Oakland, CA
This is a GREAT deal on buy.com, is a name-brand product and even comes with the regular SD adapter. Now, the tricky thing is that in order to use it, you need to have your device format it -- in my case, it's a Treo 755p -- but in order to transfer data onto it, it must be recognized by your computer... and a 4GB SD card, mini, micro or regular, is not immediately recognized by all computers, whether in the device itself during a sync or whether you're using the adapter a popping the card into a card-reader.
Long story short, this is the hotfix you need in order to get the card to be readable by most XP and even some Vista machines:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33001-33500/sp33439.exe
Even Microsoft wants the user to have to submit their information to them in order to get that file, which you can see on their hotfix page:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923293
This will save you a LOT of time. If you're debating getting this card, don't. Check to see if your device is compatible, and if it is, you're good to go. This is an exceptional value - plus if you're using it in a device to store music, you just saved yourself $150 by not having to purchase an iPod. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Can't beat the value Thursday, January 03, 2008 Dave from Las Vegas, NV
For the price you can't beat this card. It could be a little faster on the write speed but still a great value. I'll buy a few more at this price. Was this review helpful?

Have purchased 2 of these for use on P&S like Lumix and Canon.
some advanced Powershot would recognize it. Many Lumix would have hard time w/ it, even some that are designed w/ SDHC. so make sure on the compatibility issue. It works fine when accepted by the camera.Great price @ buy.com Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good Choice for MiniSDHC Tuesday, December 25, 2007 A Customer from San Francsico, CA
With the multiple SD card options, be sure you pick the one most compatable with your device and have a reader capable of transferring files to it. For me, I bought the MiniSDHC to work with my Treo 755p smartphone and its flawless, along with a USB reader capabable of handling SDHC. At Buy.com's price, this is a terrific value. This is an excellent SD card. It works beautifully in my Canon Powershot S3 digital camera.
Just a word of caution: SD-HC cards are not the same as standard SD cards. Your SD card reader needs to support the SD-HC format in order to access this card. Case in point: it works fine in my digital camera, but is not recognized by the native SD reader in my Dell Inspiron 9300. Was this review helpful?

The card works great. I have a Lenovo laptop (less than a year old) with a built-in SD card reader and needed to request a hotfix from Microsoft in order to get the card reader to recognize the 4GB card. Simple enough. My Treo 755P recognized the card immediately. A word of caution ... use care when securing the card back into the storage case. Mine "cracked" when I gently pressed it down into the storage case. It still functions properly. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 High Capacity 4GB Mini SD card Saturday, December 15, 2007 imnav8tor from Corinth, Texas
To Sleek & Zippy Storage: That isn't a lock on the adapter to hold the Mini SD, it's the read/write only switch. Nothing to do with holding. It's on all SD Cards, to prevent you from erasing files unintentionally. Card is great, at a fantastic price point. Works in any Mini or full sized SD Application. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Not backwards compatible Saturday, December 15, 2007 dallas.johnson from Houston, Texas
I guess it's a good product. I have not been able to use it yet. I am waiting on a reader for the card. Standard SD Mini card reader will not work with this product. Be sure you have a SDHC reader because it is not backwards compatible. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good product. Saturday, December 15, 2007 A Customer from Sacramento, CA
Bought this for my smartphone. Really good price at the time, plus free shipping.
Came brand new in package, and was the '4' version, which is 4 mb/sec x-fer rate. Works great, x-fers info way faster than the phone is capable of.

5 of 5 Awesome Memory Card Tuesday, December 11, 2007 Susan from Clarkston, MI
I ordered one of these 4 GB Mini HC Cards hoping that it would work in my Canon Powershot camera and wasn't sure when it arrived whether I should open it or not. Before I did open it, I did a lot of research and finally when I read one of the reviews, read more on the Kingston website, and called and spoke to a technical support person who said he couldn't guarantee that it would work, I finally opened the package, inserted the mini card into the adapter and put it into my camera and it work. Wow, can't beat the price and it works, great product for the price. You can't go wrong and just make sure you click on the "Free Shipping" as I didn't the second time around when I ordered two more. 5 of 5 Works great in my Motorola Q9m Sunday, December 09, 2007 Jeff M from Plymouth, MN
At first I was unsure if I should buy this for my Motorola Q9m phone since the phone manual said it was compatible with Mini SD cards up to 4 gb but said nothing about being compatible with SDHC The warnings in the product state "Compatible with miniSDHC host devices; not compatible with standard miniSD-enabled devices/readers" Well I took the chance and I'm glad I did. When I inserted the memory card the phone easily recognized the card and I proceeded to download a ton of music to my phone and I still have 3.5 gb of free space left. This was a great deal that worked out well for me. Was this review helpful?

1 of 5 Does not work as advertised!! Friday, December 07, 2007 Chris from New York
The online literature said that it is compatible with the digital camera that I was going to use it in but upon receiving it, I found out the hard way that it is NOT compatible.
Great price but that's probably why it is so cheap - it doesn't work in most equipment!
Save time and money and buy a real SD card not this allegedly compatible one that won't work for you! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good product, great company Friday, December 07, 2007 PDB from Seattle Wa
Kingston always makes good products and their support and warranty is outstanding. Best company I've ever worked with.
As for this 4 gig SD card, well its not compatible with any of my cameras or even my laptops couldn't read it using Win xp.
Its size 4 gig is the problem with older equipment. I did test it on a new Lenovo laptop running Vista and it read it fine. I bought this for a test regarding compatibility with my equipment. Decided to take a chance. to my surprise it did work on my Dell Axim x50v PDA. SD slot.
Cost was great.

Amazingly inexpensive and works AWSOME with the Treo 755p !!!!!!!!
1/2 the cost of the regular MiniSD, and with a couple cheap options of software on palm.com, you can mount this thing to your desktop to transfer files without a card reader.
I LOVE this thing. and I LOVE using my Treo 755p as a music player too!!!

Will not work in my PPC6700, will not work in my MIO GPS c330, Will not work in my 5 MP Casio camera, or my new cheap mp3 device. (Damm Cheap walmart product) Too lazy to return it, May be some day I will buy something that it will work in. Hold every thing, it works in my usb card reader. (fat or fat32) A usb flash drive would be better. I will be getting a garmin 660 for xmas, , maybe it will work in THAT??? Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well. Thursday, November 29, 2007 Satisfied Customer from Durham, NC
This product was purchased for use in a Garmin Nuvi GPS. It works very well with that device. It does not work in an older SanDisk multi-card reader I have, presumably because that device does not support SD-HC. Since when the GPS is connected to the computer the card mounts, it's not really a problem, except that the Garmin is USB 1.1 only, so access was slow.
I love the card, but you might need a new card-reader to get full use of it.

4 of 5 Massive Storage in Small Package Thursday, November 29, 2007 A Customer from Milford, MI
I just got a new 12MP camera and it worked great on a recent vacation. I was taking pictures throughout the trip and never had to clean it off. Of course, I had to recharge my camera several times, but the memory card just kept going.
The only downside I had was that it didn't work with my older 8-in-1 Card reader, but that shouldn't be too big of a surprise. I was able to plug directly into the camera and download the files from there.
