The memory sticks fit in my MacBook like if they were installed there at the factory. The MacBook recognized the memory sticks immediately. The best of it all is that Apple wanted 4 times as much for them!The order was delivered very quickly. Was this review helpful?

Push hard to install. Don't be afraid to use a little muscle to make sure the RAM is installed properly. It took me a couple of tries to get it inserted, but the RAM works great and the price with the rebate at the time (final cost $40) was a steal. Was this review helpful?

I put this RAM in my iMac several months ago and everything seemed great. it ran perfectly and faster than before. Then about two months ago my iMac starting beeping at start up sometimes.... i would unplug it for a bit then plug it back in and everything was fine... Starting today it won't boot at all... it just sits there beeping on the memory part of the POST test. I had to swap it out for the original 1GB chip that came with the iMac and things are back to slow again.... :o( There went $90.... Was this review helpful?

First of all the delivery to my home was so fast I was surprised it got here so quick. Thanks for that! :-)
The install was relatively painless, but I had to search on the web on how to do it.
There is a link of a YouTube video describing memory upgrades on the MacBook Pro so that was a huge help. Apple put really bad little tiny screws on the memory hatch, I suppose to make it something a Mac Genius has to do. So anyway, once it was installed it came up without issue and voila I have 4GB of ram. Runs really great now, and I can finally run my VMWare VMs with some decent memory allocated. I got the Kingston RAM for my June '07 to January '08 model of the iMac. It is wonderful. They are quality modules and they are to the correct specifications. It shipped fast and it was a breeze to install. I was amazed at the great price buy.com had in comparison to Apple when purchasing 4GB of RAM. I am extremely happy I bought it. I tell you what this product works good. I upgraded my imac from 2 gigs and I didn't see to much difference just less CPU usage etc. but I am sure in the future of other operating systems it will help a lot I do indeed recommend this product in fact I am about to upgrade my macbook pro to 4 gigs using this memory. I bought this memory hoping, it would work for my macbook 2.2 Intel. I had gotten crucial memory before and knew that it worked but the price had gone up and I had never used Kingston on a mac before. The biggest surprise was that it got here early using free shipping and there is no rebate to fill out and wait for. I was surprised to see that the package says for macbook, mac pro on the front. - Cracked up the iMac
- Waisted 10 minutes trying to figure out how to extract the 1GB module (instructions are clear, its the amount of force you have to use which concerned me)
- Inserted the new modules
