I bought several of these because I was so pleased with the first one I bought. I have given them to my friends and family who do not have them. Not having a cap is the best thing about these.

I bought one for my sister and one for my mother. They work flawlessly. And the price cannot be beat for a 4GB flash drive. I like the fact that it is retractable and there is no cap to keep track of. I highly recommend this product.

Over the last few years I have purchased several Kingston DataTraveler USB thumb drives through Buy.com with this being my latest purchase. They all work great with my various different desktop computers and laptops. I have never had a problem with any Kingston thumb drive. The only issue I have ever had with USB thumb drives of all types is using them with Windows 98 which requires a driver to be installed on the Win98 PC first. Win98 drivers for USB thumb drives can usually be found on the manufacturer's website (i.e. www.kingston.com) or on www.driverguide.com. If this is an issue for you then you may want to check for the driver first because many manufacturers no longer support Windows 98.

About as reliable as an anvil. You can save stuff on it, remove stuff from it. I don't know what else you can say. Oh yeah, it slides.

The only problem I experienced is that it is somewhat cumbersome to open. The button to press and slide is somewhat narrow and slippery. Other than that it works OK.

Bought this for back to school for my daughter. It worked right out of the box. Lots of storage space and pretty cheap. I liked the fact that the USB connector retracted. I was worried when I ordered it that there was no obvious place to attach it to a lanyard or key ring, but when I got it there was.

Great little flash drive for the price. I have not had any problems with it except for the fact that it will not fit into the USB port on the new Mac keyboards (I have an old one--with the USB port on the back, not on the side--and have had no problems). It also is tough to get into stacked USB ports if something else is loaded above or below. I like the retractable plug. And it holds so much!

I haven't fully exercised this drive but I don't expect to have any problems. Do check around though on price, I found a couple of places where I could have saved a couple of dollars more but it wasn't woth the effort to return and reorder. And I have saved a few bucks at Buy.com in the past over competitive sales outfits for other items, so it evens out with a little plus for Buy.com.

I had previously purchased many flash drives and always had some kind of glitch between computers, but this Kingston was perfect from the first use. Nothing slowed it down, the price was incredible for 4GB!! I have no complaints only praise! Excellent all the way around. If I could purchase more I would. I will tell everyone about it.

So far so good. I've had this flash drive for about a month, and it's super easy to use on both Macs and PCs. It's not the slickest looking fast drive out there, but, hey, it doesn't need to be. It seems fast to me, but I don't have too much experience with many different types of flash drives... I like the retractable feature a lot seen as how I'm sure I'd lose those little covers to the non-retractable kind...you know, kind of like when you take the closure tag off of the bread and right away it's gone...I just took it off, where could it have gone?! That sort of thing...so, yay!, I don't have to worry about that with this device. The price was right at $16 shipped. All is good and recommended.

I gave this thumb drive a 3 on ease of use because it does not always stay locked in the out position when inserting into a USB port. In addition it does not work with stacked USB ports, ( laptop) It is a little thick if plugged in with another USB item attached. Performance is a tad bit slower than some drives but well within exceptable limits for the price. Overall I would buy again.

Cheap, large capacity, had no problem connecting to my computer. It's a nice design. I have it on my key chain after losing my 2 other flash drives. I love that. And it's not as big as some make it seem.

The USB key works well in both Vista Ultimate and XP Pro. The only complaint I have is that I have to keep my thumb on the button when pushing the USB key in to prevent the connector from retracting while trying to plug it in.

I got this drive to do daily backups of my personal data. It works with no problems except for backing up MS Money - which seems to be a problem with the software but not sure - as I'm backing up it stops and says the disk is full but it's actually not. The little push button to open the USB connector is a little difficult to use but works.

There really isn't brain surgery involved in buying a USB flash drive. It pretty much comes down to functionality and price. This item has both (and it looks cute too, for people that care). I have priced these at several big box stores, and buy.com beats them every time, and I always get things quickly.

I have been using these flash drives to store music for a new car radio that I had installed. I have lost count as to the number of CD's that I have stored on two of these units and have another on hand for when I fill the second drive. Easy to use and reliable so far for storing music.

Not sure I would try to order again. I placed an order on May 14, 2008 and finally the rest of my order was shipped on June 12th. I was told it was all in stock and mailed. I received half of it very quickly and had to have many e-mails to try to get the other half until I asked for you to call me which you did and then a few days later the rest of the order was shipped and finally received. I'm not sure why they were not both sent in the same package. But, I did finally get my complete order and am satisfied. Thank You, Sheila Young

I bought this item to record music from CD's to play in my car. I have a new car radio with a USB port connected, permitting me to record about thirty or so CD's to play through my car radio. The guy at the car stereo store referred to the item as the CD player of the future, as it stores more music then a car CD changer. Easy to use, and flawless performance.

Very easy to use and held all the information that I wanted to put on it. The only small drawback for me is that the plastic case seems somewhat fragile but it was such a great price that I am thinking of getting another one. Arrived fast.

This little flash drive is perfect for my uses as a "backup to the backup" storage device. It holds over two years worth of my important photos and documents, and doesn't take up much space in the safe deposit box. I highly recommend this one!
