Compatibility was a concern. Did some research and found that DDR ram is backward compatible. I guess this module will work on any laptop as long as it fits in the slot. It was a quick install on my old Dell E1405 which supports PC4200. Great value backed by Kingston quality. Crosair had a similar deal. Went with this for the name brand.

Works well with my wife's Asus EEEPC 1000H. Just enter the bios, save and you're all set. Apparently some just require rebooting a couple of times. Can't beat the price.

The replacement memory did what it was supposed to do... it worked. The Acer laptop running Windows Vista recognized all 4 gigabytes of the stuff right after I plugged it in. Memory Hog Vista is much happier running on 4 gigs than 2 gigs.

Worked as advertised. Easy installation and is 100% compatible with the lenovo memory that was already there in the laptop. Hasn't given any issues so far (3 months) and performance is good.

Just got the ram today and it works great with the Acer Extensa 5420 (Windows Vista). Increased the RAM from 2GB to 3 GB. Windows Vista really needs 3 GB to run well...Microsoft. The computer didn't recognize the new RAM twice. But the third time i tried, it recognized the ram. It maybe because i didn't put it right. You have to really tuck it in without damaging it. There is a lotta screws to remove for the Acer laptop to get inside it. It was really frustrating doing it 3 times. But other that that everything was aite. Since i had 2 X 1 GB rams on the computer before i got the new 2GB, i used the old 1GB RAM to boost up my 512 MB Toshiba satellite A150(Windows XP) to 1.5 GB. Now i have two faster computers.

Purchased this memory for a Lenovo S10 netbook. Installation was a no-brainer. Open it up, snap it in, close it up and you are done. No software changes necessary. Very easy, works as advertised.

The product was a bargain. $50 for 4GB(2x2GB). Free shipping took almost 2 weeks to deliver. Would've used other shipping method if indicated on the order. Other than than that, product is great.

I'm completely satisfied with this order. This memory works in Dell Inspiron 6000 notebooks which was one of my concerns and not easy to figure out. I wish there was an easy way to verify compatibility off the Buy.com web page advertising the product.

The RAM [2 x 2GB] is working fine [hp pavilion dv5t] as expected for a 4 gig memory. Certainly improved the performance a lot. Brought down the startup and shut down times which are also another indication for the performance. My only complain is that I have selected Standard Shipping. I was said that they shipped it to me and gave me the routing number which showed after more than a week that it has been shipped using UPS. After one more week it showed that it will be delivered to me by USPS this time. So at last when it showed that it was delivered I did not receive any. I was disappointed and gave them a complain for which they replied well and have sent a new one. But I did not believe that they are going to do that after all this and so ordered two new 2GB RAMs from Kingston[same price and better memory speed] directly. In fact I received them from Kingston in less than a week. I still have to thank Buy.com for sending me a new one without any hassle.

Bought this with the reccomendation of my son. Installed this in my HP Pavilion dv2911us and the memory was recognized right away by the system as soon as I powered on. This was as easy as taking off 2 screws, grounding my fingers to the frame then carefully unsnapping and removing the old RAM chip. Inserted the new 2 gig chip, carefully snapped clips into place and put the cover back on. Easy as that. Just remember to wash your hands, don't touch the guts of the chip and don't force anything to the point that it breaks. Power up showed increased performance, faster applications and well worth the money spent. Buy.Com had the best price and you can't beat the free shipping. This was easier than looking around at the box stores and saved me a bunck. This is the easiest thing to do to boost your computer at a price anyone can afford. I would encourage everyone to check here and boost your memory and computer performance. I'm just a average person with a laptop used to check web and do normal home/student apps. Go for it!

I bought this 2GB RAM unit to upgrade my Asus Eee PC 1000HD netbook. Replacing the existing 1GB RAM with this one was very easy for someone who has not done this before. Then, I needed to power up and then down the Asus twice before the new RAM unit was recognized. For the price, I would easily recommend this upgrade.

Works in a MacBook Pro and iMac. It's called ValueRAM, but I've never been able to tell any difference between it and other product lines, or brands, for that matter. Definitely worth it for the value, as it was about fourteen after rebate. Highly recommend 4GB of memory for systems these days; everything runs smoother. :)

I had bought 3 of these for our 2 HP laptops, one is dv2810us and the other is tx1320us, both are 32 bit Vista Home Premium. All 3 Memory rams were installed to upgrade both laptops into its maximum ram capacity (4.00Gb) . It was so easy to install and all were recognized without any problems. as a matter of fact, the performance score level went up to 5.8 in the RAM category. However, each laptop had two different total physical memory indications. The dv2810us had incated 3.2 while the tx1320us had only 2.9 in total physical memory. These are expected, because each Laptops had different performance and memory ram usage.

I have been using 2MB on my Intel MacBook and was disappointed at the speed of Vista when using Fusion. Used this RAM to go to 4MB and increased the memory allocation within Fusion. Vista is now much more usable in Fusion and runs very well in Boot Camp. Mac OS also runs great with the added memory. Safari seems to really like the added memory.

I ordered this memory to upgrade a pair of Toshiba A215-S7422 laptops my Wife and I use at home. We scoured the net and could not find a better price for Kingston memory. I bumped up my 32 bit Vaio memory from 2 GB to 3 GB. Performance improved a little. Than I put the same memory in my 64 bit HP which was 2 GB at first and is now 3GB. The performance improved trmendously. Great buy.

Having had use of a Dell D830 laptop just a few months back and having to give it up, I had just bought a refurbished one but it came with only 1GB of RAM. I thought my new 2.0 Ghz Duo Core was fast before, WOW, lightning fast now w/ 4MB RAM, The new memory came in factory sealed packaging too! I saw the exact same SDRAMM's at Walmart when Christmas shopping for $48+ each. What a super deal!

I bought two of these memory units to upgrade my recently purchased Vista laptop (Acer 5520-5908). The laptop only shipped with 1 GB of memory which is pretty much useless with Vista. These memory modules installed pretty easily and made the laptop instantly faster. Well worth the money, especially with the associated rebate.

I purchased Kingston 2 GB RAM from Buy.com, the product is shipped within the specified time and this product is really good I am using Windows XP for my laptop due to heavy load of application and many software running at back ground my system was very slow after installing it, my system performance has increased a lot and it is running very fast than I expected. I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 which earlier had 1 GB memory. I removed one of the 512's and put the 2 GB memory to increase the RAM to 2.5 GB and could immediately see an improvement in speed. I then upgraded my OS to Windows Vista Home Premium from Home Basic and there is no compromise on speed or performance

I plugged this into my Samsung NC 10 netbook and it worked like a charm. If you have a netbook, you should upgrade the memory if possible. This 2GB memory from Kingston with its low price and high quality was worth its value.
