Some reviews I've read said that adding this 2GB module to the already-installed 1GB on your Mac wouldn't work, or that it would only be like adding 1GB. Not true. This thing immediately made my iMac MUCH faster. The difference is dramatic and noticeable. With a Macbook (laptop) you need to have the same memory on each module (either 1GB and 1GB; or 2GB and 2GB), but with an iMac, you can just add this on one side and it will help significantly. The price is great, too. Can't beat it.

Sounded too good to be true, the cost of the Kingston memory is a small fraction of the cost over Apple. Incredibly simple to install in my iMac and works beautifully. I highly recommend this product.

Great value a fraction of the cost vs. Best Buy. Well packaged and very easy to install. I have a metering program on my Macbook Pro and the clock speed is accurate.
