The memory card works as expected, no complaints. I've had issues with SanDisk products. This replaced a much smaller and older SanDisk memory card. It works much better and is significantly faster. Was this review helpful?

As most of these SD (Micro, Mini, etc) work fairly well I wasn't expecting much.
I've put it in my cell phone (Nokia) and for the almost week i've had it in it has worked flawlessly.
And it makes it easy to transfer data from my computer to my phone now that i can use the standard SD 'shell'.
$10 for a 2GB card and adapter(s) with free shipping it seems like a no brainer.
I guess this means the SDHD cards are going to be coming out in full force (and getting cheaper) soon. Works for me. Was this review helpful?

I purchased the card and have used it with the adaptor in my TomTom GPS Navigator. I like the idea of having a write portect on the full size adaptor. Now I dont have to worry about accidentely deleting data when I put it in my computer to read files. I can use this same adaptor for my other cards from my cell phone and my one USB drive, that has one. Can't hardly beat the price and Buy.com has always been a great place to shop. The flash memory Kingston uses for this micro SD card is very high quality. Flash memory wears as it is written, and overwritten. Eventually, it wears out, and becomes useless, because it won't record data.
Kingston flash memory wears very well, and at this price is an unbelievable value. You can use this kit in any SD card based digital camera, whether micro SD, mini SD, or SD size.
The full size adapter, the most commonly used for digital cameras, has a read only lock the user can use to protect the contents while traveling, or before the contents are transferred to a PC or Mac.
My camera can fit over 300 images on this card, at maximum resolution and quality; and over 1000 images at high quality.
SD is the standard for notebook computer card readers. The SD form factor for flash memory cards is established, works well, and all indications verify this won't change anytime soon.
I also use the micro SD flash card in a USB adapter, and keep my important files from my desktop computer on the micro SD turned USB flash drive.
I have installed the Linux computer operating system on one of these 2GB micro SD cards, with full graphical user interface, office suite, productivity applications, graphics manipulation programs, web browser, email, internet relay chat clients, networking, rescue system, encrypted user document folder, and that's just the beginning; So I can boot any PC with the flash card inside the USB adapter, and have all my stuff available.
Having a few Kingston 2GB micro SD cards is like having a guitar, a Bible, or a great friend. You just never get bored. Was this review helpful?

I got it within a week, so that was good....
But when I got out the card and put it in my phone it didnt work.. Then I tried to put it in my laptop but it could not seem to find it either.
So if you want to waste your money.. Buy the Kingston Micro Card.. Was this review helpful?
