I've had my 2 GB DataTraveler jump drive for a couple weeks now and I've been happy with my purchase.
Pros:
1. It has a small profile, making it easy to plug and unplug when the USB drives are stacked (like on my laptop).
2. The data transfer speeds are fast - it took about 10 seconds to transfer 500 MB.
3. I don't have to stop the drive when I unplug it.
4. High-capacity
5. White and green color makes it easy to find among papers or in a large bag.
6. No extra software (which I don't want anyways).
Cons:
1. Not as inexpensive as other 2GB jump drives - but I've used Kingston in the past and found them to be reliable and well-crafted.
This was a very satisfying purchase and I recommend this to anyone who needs to hold larger amounts of data. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Can't Beat It For The Price Wednesday, October 04, 2006 SaCCaL72 from Philadelphia, PA
I have had this Kingston thumb drive for about a month now and it has worked flawlessly. I use it for storing everything. Easy to use, quick data transfers, and it is easy to just stick in your pocket. For the price it was worth it, but with the rebate that was offered at the time on top of it, it was unresistable. I recommend this Drive if you are in the market for one. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Awesome performance in a space package. Saturday, July 08, 2006 A Customer from St. Louis, MO
This is the memory stick to be beat. Great performance, durable case, and huge storage size. Highly recommend this memory stick, in fact, I just purchased a second one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It ROCKS! Monday, June 19, 2006 Dusty Baker from Waldport, Or.
The perfect solution to "sneakerware" needs around the office and at home. Plenty of room for anyting you need to store or shuttle. My first one was a DataTraveler 512M, and now I'm stepping up to the 2GB because I learned how I can't afford to be without this marvelous jewel.
Yes it is bare bones, and so is a floppy disk or external HD for that matter. But guess what? IT WORKS and IT WORKS GREAT!
Kingston has on-line support so this gem will also work with Win'98SE.
BUY IT. Buy them for for friends. They'll love you for it and you can't go wrong! Was this review helpful?

A nice cheap flash drive for anyone who wants it. No software on it that you wll probably end up deleting or at least never using. Lightweight, but doesn't feel as cheap as some other flash drives tend to, feels like there is actually some meat to it. Smaller than the flash drives i am used to, not a mini, but still smaller than a standard. Nice rubber grippings on the side and a sturdy cap that stays on.
Only real complaint is that when in use, you can attach the cap to the drive, so you can lose that real easy if you don't pay attention. Besides that, great value you for your money. Was this review helpful?

LED is inconveniently located near the USB connection rather than on the end away from the USB connection, so it is difficult to see activity light when it is in use. Don't expect any software or extras on the unit...it is bare bones. Was this review helpful?
