5 of 5 good value, beware of window limitation Thursday, October 23, 2008 A Customer from edison, nj
the memory works as it supposed to. However, if you are using 32bits OS (XP or Vista), which most people does, you need to be aware of the fact that the window will recognized a max. of 4GB, including the memory you have in your graphic card, i.e. if your graphic card has 1GB then window will only recognized 3GB of the 4GB RAM, although there is a work around (using /PAE switch in boot.ini), but the work around doesn't work on all motherboard. May be to do that, your mother board might have to support more than 4GB ? not sure about that, mine support a max. of 4GB, hence the work around doesn't work, hence window can only see 3.5GB (4GB minus the 512MB I have on my graphic card). I've always been happy with Kingston products in the past, and this purchase did nothing to change my feelings. Installed the memory two months ago and have had absolutely zero problems. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Product at a Great Price Thursday, April 17, 2008 Ryan from Springfield, Ohio
I bought a new computer with Windows Vista installed and it only had 512mb of ram. There was a serious speed issue. I put in this 2gb kit and now my computer with Vista is blazin fast. If you upgrade to Vista, or have bought a computer with Vista and are experiencing lagging and slowness, I highly recommend this product. It is affordable and sped up my computer unbelievably! 5 of 5 Worked As Expected Tuesday, April 15, 2008 Steve W. from Boulder, CO
When you purchase a memory upgrade that meets the specs of your motherboard you expect no problems and that is just what I got.
The system (running XP SP2) runs noticeably faster than it did with the original 512mb of ram. Not much else to comment on for a simple memory upgrade that worked. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Kingston is a great company Wednesday, April 02, 2008 A Customer from Dallas, TX
Kingston has been in the industry for a very long time. The lifetime warranty makes purchasing a Kingston product an easy choice.
I ordered two of these kits -- one was DOA. I have no doubt about whether Buy.com and / or Kingston will take care of the problem. A slight inconvenience, but this is the first Kingston DOA I have ever experienced. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Fantastic Value Sunday, February 17, 2008 A Customer from Chicago, IL
I purchased this product to upgrade my inexpensive Compaq PC from the standard 1GB required for Vista to 2GB because memory usage was constantly maxed out. As advertised, you simply turn off your computer, open up the case, pop out the old, pop in the new, close the case and turn your computer back on. It's really that easy and took me less than 5 minutes to do. The performance improvement was immediately noticeable. No other supplier could even come close to this price. I highly recommend it.
