5 of 5 Beautiful memory from Kingston (1GB DDR2 SDRAM) Thursday, January 08, 2009 customerL from Ellicott City, MD
I bought 2 of the Kingston 1GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory Module - KTD-DM8400A/1G for my Dell XPS400 desktop. They are easy to setup and worked flawlessly. Until then I realized my computer has 4 slots so I don't have to get rid of the two old 512MB ram. Now I have 3 GB in total memory. I do noticed that is is faster than before when I run complicated programs. But internet surfing speed did not change much, then I realize that the DSL speed is the limiting factor. I bought multiple memories from Kingston, I trust this brand. I also enjoy the dealership of Buy.com, which is fast and reliable. Another happy buying! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good upgrade Monday, February 18, 2008 A Customer from Illinois
I recently started digitally archiving old home movies and found that 512MB RAM was insufficient. I purchased 2-1GB RAM modules. The upgrade to my Dell desktop was simple thanks to the easy open case. It was easy to locate the additional slots for the RAM and installation took just a few minutes. I didn't have to do any additional configuration upon boot up. Now with 2.5GB of RAM, overall, the computer doesn't seem much faster. It does handle and process the large video files faster than before. In a few weeks of use, I have not encountered any issues with the new RAM.

5 of 5 Terrific Product!!! Saturday, November 10, 2007 AveryR from Greenville SC
The price was very low. About 4 or 5 days later the price dropped, but I couldn't get a credit because 3 days had passed and I used FREE shipping. Anyway, the 2 1GB RAM modules were fairly simple to install in my Dell Dimension 5100, doubling the amount of RAM to 2GB. I immediately noticed a boost in performance. Programs load and run faster and better, the PC boots faster, and of course I can run more programs at the same time. One program that wouldn't run before, now runs. I guess I didn't have enough RAM. I have purchased Kingston RAM modules before for my HP Pavilion dv9207us Notebook PC. So, I trust Kingston. Plus, Kingston has a LIFETIME WARRANTY on their RAM. The shipping was FREE, but quick. And again, BUY.COM always has the lowest price around. Kingston RAM is the best RAM there is and what a value! So, how can I go wrong with buying their RAM from BUY.COM. Was this review helpful?

Never had a problem with Kingston memory. Have tried a few others with marginal success so I came back to Kingston. It just works. Was this review helpful?
