5 of 5 Kingston RAM -- Worth the extra $$ Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Jim from Carol Stream, IL
Adding this 1MB to an old Dell with just 256MB made all the difference in the world on this machine. It was being used to run a small business, and it had become a real slug with newer applications loaded. XP now loads 3X faster, browsing is a breeze, and the hard drive LED is no longer constantly on.
Easy installation. If you havn't had your machine open before, Dell's website has a good step-by-step on how to install a RAM upgrade.
Based on my experience, Kingston RAM can always be relied on for unparalled compatability. It may cost a bit more then generic RAM, but you can be sure it'll work without any "issues" I've seen too often with other brands. Lifetime, no hassle warranty too!

Good memory for use in a Dell Optiplex; BUY.COM is easy to do business with. The price was very good, and the order shipped as stated. Was this review helpful?
