5 of 5 Thid drive is incredible! Sunday, June 14, 2009
    A Customer from Mesa, AZ

I couldn't be happier with the way this 160GB Drive operates in my system. I installed this in a new Core i7 system build using Windows Server 2008 (similar to Vista). This Drive was every bit as easy to configure as a traditional Hard Drive. The main difference is that it is very fast, completely silent since there are no moving parts, and puts out no heat whatsoever. Once the system gets through its BIOS checks at start up it is less than another 15 seconds and my desktop appears and all is ready to go. I use my PC for some pretty heavy duty number crunching on SQL Server 2008. My old 3.4 Dual Pentium used to take 3, 4, or 5 hours to do what now takes less than an hour. I don't know how much of the speed increase is due to the faster processor and how much is due to the SSD Drive but this drive has a very high I/O rating which would contribute greatly to the speed. Also, when I open a large group of stock charts (data located on SSD) what used to take 28 seconds now takes 8 seconds for all to open and display on my screen. This drive is made by Intel but carries the Kingston name. From what I've read in reviews the Intel performance of their SSD blows away the competition (particularly in write speed). Kingston did a very smart thing teaming with Intel. If you buy this drive you won't be disappointed.
