i researched for like a week before i made this purchase. i really wasn't sure what to get cause you don't know until you've seen the footrest up close and personal. so i went ahead and ordered this Kensington Solemate Comfort Gel Footrest after reading reviews on amazon. the first one i received arrived defective. the top part would not tilt without a lot of force. buy.com replaced that first one at no additional charge and the second one has worked great.
i really like the soft gel foot resting surface, which is truly what pushed me over the edge to buy this product. its really comfortable. the footrest is made of plastic, but built, i think, to withstand punishment by your feet. i've owned this item for about a month now, and for the price, its worth the buy. there really is not much choice out there in footrests, but this one has worked out just fine.
