This keyboard is very compact and has a slim profile so it is ideal if you want to get an external keyboard for your laptop. The resistance on the keys is just right and the size of the keys is optimal. My only gripe is that the backslash key is directly to the right of the left alt key so whenever I try to hit alt+tab I fail. The media keys are a nice component as well but there is no stop key, only a play/pause, there is also a calculator key. As far as aesthetics, the keyboard has silver media keys with a nice silver border going all the way around. It is fairly easy to clean but the keys are so close together that its hard to get the pressurized air under them. Besides very few minor details, this keyboard has served me well since the day I received it and if you are thinking about getting one then go for it, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this keyboard since my desk tray was too small to fit a mousepad and a full sized keyboard comfortably. This keyboard made my tray less cramped, but I have to say that it is a little wider than I expected. Anyways, the key layout takes some time to get used to. The numberpad is like that on any other keyboard, but the top row (Esc, F1, ...) and bottom row (Ctrl, Windows, Alt, ...) feel a little clustered. I inadvertently hit the wrong key while thinking that another button was in its place. The keyboard is pretty quiet, and you will feel right at home if you have used laptop keyboards as much as I have.

I needed a USB type keyboard after upgrading the MB on my PC. Kensington has a good reputation so decided to try this one out. It works fine, had a nice audible click and touch to the keys. I like it very much. Very similiar to a laptop computer keyboard. Now for the downside. This is a narrower keyboard than the standard desktop keyboard. The arrow keys are below the Enter/Shift keys and the Home/PgUp/PgDn/End keys are to the left of the number keypad. Took some getting used to. Also the keys seem to be a little close together. I think after about another month, I may purchase a full size keyboard, as that is what I am most used to. If you are a touch typist, this may not be the keyboard for you.

I've had this keyboard for about a month now, and it seems to still function just fine. No complaints. All the special function keys also seem to work.

I've never bought a keyboard and expected the additional buttons to work. I plugged the USB cable in and instantly Windows XP installed the keyboard, and all the buttons are functional. No cd, or drivers required. The media buttons work with Windows Media player, and there is even a calculator button, which you push and the windows calculator pops open. It also looks pretty snazzy with my black lcd and case.

Have used many keyboards but this one is by far the best. It is quiet, appealing to the eye, a perfect size, easy to use when typing, and sleep key is a plus. Also, the chrome accents are especially nice. Would recommend this keyboard to anyone. Keyboard was shipped and received in a very timely manner.

This keyboard is compact, looks very sleek and typing is a pleasure. Not only can you see the quality, you can feel it and the keysound is just barely audible. It truely looks and feels like a laptop keyboard. Only quality issue I can't attest to is it's durability, as I've only had this keyboard a few days. All in all, I'd say it was a steal at this price, I actually would have paid more. I'm very impressed.

I receieved this keyboard about 3 days ago and so far I'm loving it without a doubt. It doesn't have the loud clicking noise when you type, feels just like typing on a notebook keyboard, but that's only if you like the NB keyboard feeling. I think this keyboard is a perfect compact size keyboard that gives you want you want. Multimedia buttons, along with the standard buttons. Great design and the keyboard is slim, save you lots of space if you have tons of stuff on your desk like me. Just have not adjust the location of delete, home, pgup, pgdown, and end button yet because they are vertically lined up. Give a 10 out of 10 score.

I have been typing on this keyboard for about a month now. I love the keyboard on my Sony Vaio and was inspired to try to find a keyboard like it. I looked at several different models, and decided on this one after much research. I really like this keyboard. The keys feel like laptop keys, and they have a little "click" to them when you type making it much easier to know when you actually hit the keys. I recommend this to anyone who likes the feel of laptop keys. The other nice thing is that although this is slimline, the del, pg up, pg down, home, and end keys are where they are supposed to be, unlike most slimline keyboards that I researched.

If you like typing on laptop keyboards and wish that your desktop keyboard had the same feel, this is the keyboard that you are looking for. It truly feels the same. I am very happy with the purchase. I have only had a bit of trouble with the multimedia keys...I don't use them much so I don't really care. Otherwise, this keyboard is great!
