This mouse worked great for about 3 months. I liked it but quit working in short order. I don't recommend it.

I use the mouse with a notebook that has built-in bluetooth capability. The computer recognized the mouse and I was able to set it up fairly quickly thereafter.
The mouse is a mouse and does what it is supposed to do. It is not a small mouse. That's good news and bad news. It's good news because it's comfortable to use but bad news because its size makes it a bit less convenient to carry.
I haven't had the mouse long enough to comment on battery life, but overall, I would recommend it to anyone who has a bluetooth capable notebook and doesn't want to deal with a dongle.

Simple to install, easy to use and convenient for travelling!
And regarding some reviews that say that its difficult to reconnect after laptop goes to sleep mode, just use the scroll wheel of the mouse and it will start functioning again. Its better than shaking the mouse on mousepad or clicking it to get recongnized.

Its a very good mouse with good precision ,I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get rid of the wiring around your laptop.
The only caveat to using this mouse is that it feels kind of heavy when you lift it with those two AA batteries inside,otherwise it works like a charm on any bluetooth enabled computer.

Despite being a 'mini', this mouse is sized just right and has a very good solid feel to it. Cursor response seems identical to any wired mouse -- no jumpiness. It takes a few moments to wake up and connect, but that's likely a Bluetooth/Vista effect that any such mouse will have. That said, the inactivity/sleep timeout seems very well balanced for my usage.

This works great and connects automatically each time when I start the computer, only the problem is I need to buy the rechargeable cells and recharger separately where this is not an issue with normal USB optical mouse. But I liked its size and efficiency.

The mouse was very easy to set up, and use. But there is a negative side to this mouse. When you let the mouse sit for a min. it looses its connection to the pc or laptop. You have to move it or click on one of the mouse buttons to get it to reconnect. This get annoying. Besides that, the mouse is a good standard blue tooth mouse. Its small and perfect for traveling.

I bought this to be used with a Macbook. When it is working it seems to work fine but it is slow to connect - which is a pain. This was never a problem for a USB mouse.

This is my first bluetooth mouse and I think its great. It connects quickly, and I never have any connectivity issues. The battery life seems a bit short... but I am not sure if that is a mouse issue or my forgetting to turn it off when not in use... but with my rechargeable batteries, its no big deal. I am back up and running in 10 minutes. (That is the only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5)
I especially love that I dont have to use another usb port. First, because my laptop only has three. Second, because there is nothing else to lose, forget or break when I travel. Just hit the switch to turn it on, and click the mouse and within seconds, its in use. Its simple and works well. Its a good product.

I like this mouse-the feel, the responsiveness, etc.
The only problem is that I have to reconnect it everytime I want to use it, or if it or the computer sleeps. This makes it useless for anything except intensive work where I really need the mouse and don't stop for long.
Having said that, I don't know if the problem in in the mouse, or inherent in BlueTooth.
I've received no response from Kensington.

I recently bought a new laptop with built-in bluetooth, so I decided to purchase this mouse to replace my old wireless mouse, which required a USB port. I had some small problems with the initial setup, but that may have been because the laptop was brand new. After that the mouse works great! The mouse powers down after it has been idle for some time, which has kept the battery charged.
This mouse has my recommendation.

I am using the PilotMouse Mini with a MacBook. It was easy to set up, the computer found it right away and no extra drivers were needed. It is responsive enough for my needs and works as well as any other bluetooth mouse I have ever had. It is a good size - small enough to slip into my laptop case, but not too small, and it has soft rubber on the sides to make it feel nice in your hand. Scroll wheel and scroll wheel click are great features.
I was worried about some of the reviews saying that it loses it's connection all the time. Like these reviewers, I have had the mouse occasionally lose it's connection w/ the laptop. However it is not that often (i.e. not every time the computer goes to sleep). It only happens if I've left the computer on for a couple days. I think it is a problem w/ the Bluetooth driver, not the mouse or mouse software. I simply 'rediscover' the mouse or reboot, and it comes right back.
Overall, I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

I purchased the Kensington Bluetooth mouse after searching around for some time. The Kensington Bluetooth mouse fit the bill and it was "reasonably" priced.
I did not want a keyboard and mouse I just wanted the mouse. I have a Bluetooth enabled Laptop so I did not want to have to tie up a USB port with the Bluetooth transmitter, etc. I also don't think that you should have to pay an arm an a leg for a wireless mouse.
I read several of the reviews on this site and they seemed to be split 50% / 50% good and bad as far as the opinions. I have to come down on the good side. I am very pleased with the product and it's performance. It works as advertised. My only complaint is that when turned on it would be nice if my laptop would just find the darn thing and start working. I have to manually find Bluetooth devices and activate it each time I want to use it. Really just a little hassle, not a big deal. I would say buy one!

I was worried about the size of the mouse, but it fits in my hand fine. It's a good performer. My only complaint is it gets erratic when burning or playing a CD/DVD.

If you’re looking for portability and Bluetooth connectivity, this is an excellent mouse. I now own two. My one complaint is that rechargeable batteries (including name brands like Duracell NiMH) don’t always make an electrical connection inside the battery compartment. I’ve solved the problem by bending the contacts to provide better contact, but Kensington should consider a better design.

I actually bought a second of this mouse so I could have one at work and home. I travel with my laptop constantly, and this mouse is great since I don't need to use a dongle with my ThinkPad laptop. I used to have a different Bluetooth mouse that didn't have an off switch; I think it was supposed to "sleep" when it wasn't in use, but I think the motion of my bag must have kept it awake so the batteries kept running out. I've run this one for weeks with rechargeables on one charge.

This compact 2 button and scroll wheel mouse works great with my Apple PowerBook! Because it uses Bluetooth, I don't need any extra dongles or receivers.
One note of caution - if you use the mouse on a surface that is all one color, it doesn't track very well. Using it on a multicolored and/or patterned surface works much better. I use it mostly on a wooden table top with the natural wood grain showing, and it tracks very precisely.

I have been through many mice looking for a good one to go with my Macintosh. This guy is it! The tracking is incredibly good, unlike the flakey MacMice BT mouse I have now and some earlier wireless mice I was using. Also, the Bluetooth connection is established very quickly. The buttons are also very responsive. All in all an excellent product.
The mouse is small which may not be what you want. I just got it so don't know the battery life yet, an issue for these wireless mice.
