5 of 5 Trackball Monday, May 18, 2009 A Customer from Buffalogrove IL
Value is great for the mouse and easy to use. I get slight pain in my hand. But I didn't feel that this trackball helped yet anything for me. But I agree this trackball better than regular mouse for your hand. Was this review helpful?

For ages I used an old L****c mouse ball, but
with this Kensington I feel like I went from a
Geo to a Mercedes!!
The design is comfortable, and the ball glides like its
on ice!!
The shipping was fast and reasonable too.
I love it, and I'm very pleased
Thank You!!

5 of 5 can't do without you. Tuesday, May 05, 2009 A Customer from Philadelphia, PA
I bought this trackball over a year ago when i started having pain and loss of circulation in my hand due to intensive mousing over 2 monitors at work. This did the trick and I no longer have pain. There was a small learning curve to get accustomed to it, but i adapted quickly. i'm so happy that i decided to get this trackball.
added secret benefit: no one wants to sit at my desk because they think it's "weird". muah hahaha. Was this review helpful?

If you need a basic trackball this is the one to buy. It's very smooth and is more comfortable than the Logitek (IMHO). For intensive use I still prefer the Kensington Expert Mouse with its 4 buttons and scroll wheel, but this one gives you a similar feel for less money. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this Kensington trackball to replace an older version of the Orbit whose rollers kept getting gummed up more and more often. I am hoping that this optical version will eliminate that problem. I love using a trackball, especially in Photoshop. It's a snap to set up and easy to use. The Orbit, with its programable keys is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend it. One small problem I found with this newer model was that the new trimmer profile did not fit my hand as well as the older model. The side of my thumb now has no place to rest. 5 of 5 Kensington Orbit Optical Trackball Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Buddy Whatley from Alma, GA
I have a box filled with old cables and mice and etc... I bought them and they just didn't "feel right" or "work right." My hand naturally lays over this trackball and works with very little effort or movement. My next mouse/trackball will be this trackball too! Was this review helpful?

I love this trackball mouse. I do a lot of card playing on my computer and it works great. I can rest my hand on it to take the pressure off my wrist. I place it on a book in my lap and it works just fine. I only wish it had a scroll wheel. But you can us both the buttons to scroll with and that works great. Was this review helpful?

After years of low-grade pain in my hand from using a mouse I switched to Kensington trackballs about 4 years ago. No pain, more accurate tracking and a reasonable price. The ball is not captive, and will fall out if you pick the unit up but for desktop use it is not a problem. Was this review helpful?

I've been using trackballs for a while, but this one is my favorite. Enough so that I got one for work and home. Smooth motion, matches well with my Apple Powerbook and the optical mechanism means I won't have to clean it too often.
I design web sites, and so do a lot of Photoshop work - precision mouse has not been a problem here. One gripe is that it isn't very portable - the ball is not secured and falls out too easily. I guess it wasn't meant to be portable, so I don't count that against it.
If you aren't used to trackballs, it takes a little getting used to but it definitely is a more comfortable experience. I can't go back to using a mouse. Was this review helpful?
