I needed a dock for my Vaio that didn't come with a port replicator, and have been using this Kensington video dock for over a month now. The video works seemlessly (I normally use my laptop for documents and websurfing, including heavy youtube watching!), and it's way easier for me to unplug and take my laptop somewhere. All I need to do is unplug the USB connector and my power cable. Much easier than before when I had all my peripherals plugged straight into my laptop. I highly recommend this dock!

It provides the ability to plug your laptop into a desktop station (mouse, keyboard, speakers, router, monitor, printer, etc.) with 1 USB connection, which is very useful. I do NOT like the fact that it doesn't have the ability to provide power to your laptop (i.e. still need to use laptop charger plugged into a seperate outlet). Also, the video input is useful but slow. I would not recommend plugging your monitor into this dock if you're video editing or playing games. It would run very very slow for a game. Other than that, it is as expected. I may just buy the model that does NOT have video and plug my monitor directly into my laptop.
