4 of 5 Simple and Works Well Sunday, April 08, 2007
Peter from Williamstown, WV

This device is simple and for the most part it works well. It suffers from the same problem as its counterparts as you drive you get station interference. I also dislike how you can't charge while using it.

5 of 5 Great product.... Wednesday, February 14, 2007
Raj from Arlington, VA
I am very happy with the Kensington FM transmitter for ipod that I puchased. I bought one a couple of months back and found it to be so good that I ordered another one to gift it to my friend in India. The transmission is good & clear. fewer radio stations...lesser disturbance & more clarity. Now, I dont have to carry the bulk CD pouch when I go on long drives and all I need is the ipod & the FM transmitter....

4 of 5 FM Transmitter works well Monday, February 12, 2007
A Customer from San Jose,CA
At first glance, the FM transmitter seems quite small and maybe not usable. But once I attached it my iPod Video and set the station, the signal came out clear if I sit in the front passenger seat next to the driver. However, if I'm a back passenger seat then the signal was a little weak and I needed to put the iPod closer to the front. At times, other FM stations that were broadcasting interfered with the channel that was set, so I had to quickly and easily change the station. Overall, this product is good value for the money but recommend that all users put it close to the front of the car.

5 of 5 Easy portable FM broadcasting! Saturday, February 10, 2007
Mike from Boston, MA
I am extremely pleased with this product. It is small, and fits perfectly on my ipod (5th gen). Unlike my previous FM transmitter, it does not require to be plugged in to the car DC power, which makes it more than just a connector to the car radio. I have used this with a boombox for great portable ipod playing. Nice Features: allows you to set and see the frequency, shuts off after the ipod shuts off, turns on with the ipod. Important tip - use the highest frequency possible. I first tried it on the lowest frequency and my car would not pick it up, but in the higher range it works beautifully.

5 of 5 A very good solution Friday, February 09, 2007
B from Sioux Falls, SD
I have used the Kensington Micro FM Transmitter with my iPod for a week. The audio clarity is quite good, the only static I hear is between songs and even then it is very minor. I use it in my car during my commute and with my under the counter CD player /radio in the kitchen when I get home. It is also a very good solution for playing music when visiting friends who do not have a stereo with audio in jacks for an auxiliary input device. I have an Agent 18 case on my ipod and since the transmitter is slightly smaller than the width of the ipod case I do not have to take the case of my ipod to use the FM transmitter. I have waited over a year to buy an FM transmitter due to customer reviews about poor audio quality and static; I am pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone.

1 of 5 Pathetic Friday, February 09, 2007
A Customer from Germantown, MD
The product is as bad as anything gets to be. The primary purpose of being useful as an FM Transmitter is not solved by it. If in the age when we talk so much about sophistication, a simple Fm transmitter cannot be manufactured right by companies. One is hardly able to listen to anything except for static when you connect this piece to your IPOD.

5 of 5 It works! Friday, January 19, 2007
A Customer from san diego, ca
I had another kensington fm transmitter in my car, which I liked because it charged my iPod at the same time. I got this wireless one so I can play my iPod through my radio in my garage while I workout. It works just as good as my other wired transmitter as far as sound quality, and it doesn't have much of an impact on my battery. I ususally play it for a few hours at a time, and no battery drain. Any longer and who knows? I highly recommend it! Bottom line, it just works!

5 of 5 Best FM Transmitter Sunday, November 12, 2006
Pari from Alpharetta, GA
This is clearly the best FM transmitter I have used so far for the price. The output from the Ipod is a 'non-amplified' output and is very clear. I did not notice any static unlike other FM transmitters that I have used in the past. I would give this one a big thumbs up.
