3 of 5 If you need speed, a USB flash is still the way to Wednesday, November 18, 2009 Tristan from New York, NY
This product has good concept, but the execution is poor. You have to install the software on both end of the machine (PC or PC), even though the process is automatic. In practical use, the link takes long time to establish on one or both ends of the connection, and the transfer rate various greatly for unknown reason.
For quick file transfer and if email is not an option, the classic USB flash is still the top choice. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 best transfer cable with built in software Wednesday, November 18, 2009 A Customer from Springfield, VA
I bought this file transfer cable because I needed to transfer 20gb single file between computers. The cable is really easy to use and supports vista 64 to win 7 OS. The software is built in the cable. It works once plug the usb to computers and run the pop up file. I bought a Belkin transfer cable with separate laplink software, which are more complicate to use and do not come close to this cable. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 I love this thing! Tuesday, November 17, 2009 Terri from Gaithersburg, MD
SOOO much faster and easier than using a flash drive to move files between computers.
PLUS - not only is it VERY easy to transfer files between my tablet computer and the desktop computer, I can even use the desktop's DVD burner from my tablet!

5 of 5 Brain Storm Tuesday, November 17, 2009 A Customer from Council Bluffs Iowa
While it's not the greatest thing since sliced bread, it is close. Connect, search, drag n drop, done. Someone had a brain storm when they created this. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product, works great Monday, November 16, 2009 A Customer from New York, NY
The Kensington Media Cable is a quality product that works as advertised. It really is drag and drop. Instructions are scant but it's easy enough to figure out. Be sure and follow the one suggestion which is to go to "Help" and uncheck "Share as Read..." on both computers. In no time I was able to drag one of my biggest folders over from my desktop (called "This Computer") to my laptop (named "Connected Computer). Only surprise was after exiting, my computer needed a restart. Wonder why that is. I've only used it once but it was a success. The same thing can be done with an external hard drive, but doing it this way is more immediate and sometimes it might be the best way to go. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Works on PCs Monday, November 16, 2009 William from Dublin, CA
Works as promised. USB 2.0 transfer speed between PC's. The C drive shows up as another drive on the other computer and it's quite useful (not having to copy to an external device and physically move it over to another pc.)

5 of 5 It just works as advertised. Monday, November 16, 2009 Inoa from New York
I now have my 2 PC Workstations synched up!
Just plug on both machines and open the software on both and you're ready to transfer files freely between both computers. Saves time and hassle.
Nicely done! Was this review helpful?
