5 of 5 It does the job Friday, June 27, 2008 A Customer from Santa Monica CA
The only downside although minor is that, once connected to my laptop, the combination dial is sometimes difficult to spin the numbers. Was this review helpful?

Decided to stop borrowing my daughter's lock and bought this just before leaving on a trip. Once on the road, I discovered it doesn't fit my absolutely standard Dell 12" traveling laptop. And I can't return it because I took it out of the packaging on my way out the door and tossed the packaging. In sum: can't return it = my fault. Kensington's making a lock that doesn't fit a standard laptop, and not making that little problem VERY clear to prospective buyers = poor policy on their part. Suggest you make sure before you buy it that it will fit, or else try it out immediately. And hold on to the packaging. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Careful Resetting the Code Wednesday, October 03, 2007 A Customer from Rochester Michigan
Careful when setting your personal code. The instructions might make you think the circle on top will turn red when the tumblers are aligned so you can reset the code. Actually, you just align a bit of red paint on the end with the circle. While trying to figure that out, we accidently changed the code and had to search for what it was. Took quite a while, luckily while mindlessly watching TV. Was this review helpful?
