Only solution i have found to work with Pioneers CD-IB100II in combo with the 4th generation iPod Nano and im sure it will also work with the iPhone 3G. I just piggy backed onto my 12v source off of the CD-IB100II with a female 12v plug and it works great. I keep my CD-IB100II in the back of my car and ipod wrapped in a sock so it is out of the way! This accessory does work with the newer iPods. But, the best part is that it allows you to use the Pioneer CD-IB100 and CD-IB100II adapters and charge at the same time. Was this review helpful?

Took charger from container and on a car trip. Charger worked as advertised and was very handy. Charger has an on-off switch that isn't real clearly marked, which is the only issue I have with it. The fact that it has a switch is really nice though. Was this review helpful?

This charger was meant to connect some of Apple's newest technology, the iPod Touch, with some of the oldest technology on the road, a 1989 Buick. The 4-way charger arrived right on time, with the item and package in pristine condition, and my daughter, The car and iPod owner. Decided that the charger was plug and play. Because of that, she tossed the packaging, grabbed her iPod and went off for a day at the beach. She returned with a few more freckles and a rather angry face. Apparently, one needs to read the directions when using the charger for some applications. As she was completely out of sweet talk, she had to fish the packaging out of the trash by herself, and once it was cleaned of the remnants of our dinner, it served to teach her what she needed to know. After that, the item worked perfectly. Was this review helpful?
