I have heard many good things about this software, but I have not tried it myself on any of the PCs I used.
I was using Trend Micro Internet Security, it blocks some of the legit programs, as well as my VPN login. This is not the case with Kaspersky. Although it does ask you for verification when the programs are laughed, but it doesn't block those software programs on its own.
On top of that, it updates quietly without much interference with whatever I was doing, at least not noticeable. For example, Kaspersky updates and scans for virus/malwares while I was playing Age of Conan mmorpg game, which requires substantial amount memory allocation to run.
Overall, I am very pleased with this product, and I will recommend it to everyone over many other similar products. Afterall, Kaspersky stands up for its reputation.

My Laptop used to be slow when i was using other Suits, it feels like breathing back now..
The Memory footprint of this program is very low, So It's very light weight on your computer. Provides good protection.
I like the part when it puts an unknown setup file on a restricted zone & scans it before installing on the PC. So if a Setup has hidden Virus or Malware in it, it's scanned & deleted even before the setup begins...
And the best part is I got it for 3 pc at the cost of 1.
I will definitely recommend it.

I have only installed this system 3 days ago so this is a very limited review. I bought it b/c the price was right AND it offered parental controls (for our teens) that norton did not. It was very clear,simpleand quick to install, esoecially helpful were the FAQ . I was having trouble b/c, altho I definitely deleted both AVG (free security?)and Norton they still left imprints or something on my computer. happily the K. system had an automatic system to FINALLY delete them. Soooo, so far so good...there are very min. hard copy(3 glossy pgs) installation instructions but I'm assuming (once I get to it) the directions for parental controls and other abilities will come up online. Also, NO SLOWDOWN, (using XP)and AVG was horrible, in retropsect I see it was responsible for my screen going blank sometimes and really slow downloads, not having any of that anymore. I have used this program since last year's version. Easily the best of all the suites out there. It is a big program but less of a hog than the competition from Trend, McAfee, and Norton. I have had computers become infected while using the other three that were cleaned with this one.
I have it on one fast dual Core (4GB RAM), and two Pentium 3 ghz machines (1GB RAM). All are runnig XP, but I have used it on a Vista machine also. Was this review helpful?
