JVC's TH-C30 is a convenient way to equip your TV with wraparound sound and crisp DVD playback. This 1,000-watt system includes a 5-disc DVD changer/receiver, five wall-mountable speakers, and a powered subwoofer. JVC also included a handy front-panel USB input — plug in an MP3 player, digital camera, or USB memory drive for easy access to your digital music, photos, and video clips. Load the changer with your favorite DVDs, CDs and MP3 mix discs for hours of non-stop entertainment, or hook up your VCR or video game console to the system's audio/video input. Built-in processing lets you enjoy all these sources in exciting surround sound. The TH-C30's space-saving design makes it an easy fit in almost any room. The small front, center and surround speakers feature keyhole slots for wall-mounting. The surround speakers use an omni-directional design to give you a wide, enveloping rear soundfield. I recently purchased a flat screen lcd tv and after watching it I came to the conclusion I need surround sound. I did some looking and after viewing all of what Buy.com had to offer I decided to get this one. Boy does it sound good. Lots of power and a clean sound. One bad thing I found was the universal remote. There seems to be not enough component type programing capability. There is no LG tv program control in the setting up of the remote, so I have to use two remotes. Other than that it sound and works great. I also did some shopping around at other stores and I ended up here at Buy.com

I enjoy the dvd surround system. It only has one input though, so I am not sure how you would attach more components. The soudn is great. Buy.com's shipping information was awful though. I checked every day, and finally the buy.com website sent me an email that it had shipped. I tracked it and found that it was delivered the day before, and had been sitting outside my front door for about 36 hours. That was about the worst of it. Oh, and wall mounts aren't included, so you have to buy those separately.

The system sounds great and has a lot of power for a relatively inexpensive system. Each individual speaker has to be connected to the subwoofer which made it difficult to reconfigure (hide) the wires. My other Sony system has one wire that attaches to the back of the subwoofer. There is no power button for the sub woofer which automatically goes on when the power is turned on. This is great if you have kids that like to play with power buttons. Overall this is a good value.
