5 of 5 Would Purchase from seller again Monday, May 04, 2009 ONLINE SHOPPER #8 from B-more careful, Maryland
I purchased this product originally from a CircuitCity Close out Sale. Love'em! uses AAA battery for noise reduction which works great. A little too great, family members pass my headset around so much I need a search warrent to find'em!
Product was shipped from seller on the date as promised.
Packaging was great and the item was undamaged by the travel.
Most of all... IT ARRIVED IN NEW CONDITION AND IT WORKED!

4 of 5 Good headset at a decent price Thursday, January 15, 2009 A Customer from San Francisco, CA
Sound quality is very good. Yes, noise reduction is not as effective, but at $25, even just using it as a headset is already a bargain. As for comfort level, it's not intended for extended use. But my daughter loves it as she uses it to watch dvd in the car. Definitely a thumbs up for a value buy. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great pair of headphones Thursday, January 15, 2009 Jmac from Buffalo, NY
Great set of headphones for the price. As stated above the sound is great and the highs and lows are crisp clean sound. They do not block out a lot of outside noise except someone screaming but with music playing you can not hear the outside noise. The cord could be a little longer as I have it plugged into my laptop on my desk, but for using them with an MP3 player in your pocket the cord is just the right length to not get tangled up with what you are doing. Nice feature for them being collapsible and they come with a nice pouch to store them in. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good set of headphones without paying a high price Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 good quality headphones NC dissappointment Wednesday, January 14, 2009 Joe Warren from NE, OH
Nice quality over-ear headphones. Purchased for sandisk e280. Don't sound as nice as quality ear plug style phones, i.e., Sennheiser CX-500, but, sound way better than the phones that sansa came with. Noice Cancellation is somewhat weak. -- a minor dissappointment in that sense. Feel good on ears, sound good, fold up nice-- Still worth the money. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 JVC Headphones! - Good Buy Wednesday, January 14, 2009 Satisfied Customer from Salt Lake City UT
I bought these on sale from buy.com and am very happy with my purchase. I think I paid around $25 for them. They are not quite as comfortable as I had hoped - they are a bit tight and more oblong than circular as far as the headband goes, but overall they are worth the money. (and my head is usually pretty small!) The sound quality is very good. The bass is warm and presents itself nicely. I have only used the noise canceling feature around the house and out on the street around traffic. It works well so far.
I would buy these again and recommend them. I am a sound addict and musician and I plan on using these in my home studio in addition to everyday use. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great value! Wednesday, January 14, 2009 A Customer from CA
The price I paid for these headphones was unbeatable! The sound quality was great. Nice bass and highs. The noise cancelling could work better. It also folds to a portable size, which is a nice quality, especially for traveling. It's also very comfortable to use. Would purchase again. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 JVC Headphones Wednesday, January 14, 2009 Carol from Kirkland, WA
I am a Medical Transcription student and a good headset is mandatory. I have to dictate reports from all different accents and speech patterns. Accuracy is mandatory. This set fills the bill. It cancels the noise around and gives more clarity than my old pair did. It was a remarkable difference when I put them on for the first time. They are comfortable and JVC is a great name for electronics. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Great headphones for the money Sunday, September 07, 2008 A Customer from Ripon, WI
The sound quality was great. The low and high frequencies are very well covered. They collapse and have multiple noise canceling settings. The only thing that could be better is the noise canceling could be a little bit stronger, but other than that it's worth the money. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 These headphones rock Thursday, December 13, 2007 Mark M. from Longwood, FL
I just got back from an airline trip and these headphones work great. I kept turning them on and off to be sure they were working and blocking out alot of airline rumble and noise, and they do, they work great. The sound quality w/my mp3 music player is also outstanding, crisp, clear and storng. They are also very soft on the ears and extremeley comfortable to wear! You cant go wrong by buying these, I highly recommend them, (and I'm not the easiest customer in the world to satisfy)! Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 It is bigger than I expected. Friday, December 07, 2007 Sam from New Jersey
I haven't had a chance to test it on a train or plane yet but it seems quieter around after I turned on the switch. It is a lot bigger than I expected that make it not as easy to carry. Was this review helpful?

By Tim Gideon:
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Nobody has made a better pair of noise-cancellation headphones than Bose's Quiet Comfort 3. That said, the QC3 is ridiculously expensive, at $350. JVC recently unveiled the HA-NC80-J/-C (NC80), a pair of noise-canceling headphones with a street price that hovers around $40. Naturally, I wasn't expecting much. But to my surprise, I found the NC80 is far more capable than it should be for the price. ---
