Powerful Connections - The RXD211S gives you some interesting connection options. It offers high quality component video inputs and outputs along with S-Video and composite hook-ups. The RXD211S will even up-convert lesser signals to component video for high quality output. But the most interesting connection on the RXD211S has to be the USB input. It allows you to receive audio signals from your PC, so you can listen to music you've downloaded from the internet (legally, of course) through your home sound system. There are also 2 digital audio inputs (1 optical, 1 assignable coaxial) for high quality digital audio transfer.

Receive Signals From Space - With an optional antenna and a service subscription, the RXD211S can receive and play XM Satellite Radio. XM is a satellite radio service with digital-quality sound and over 100 digital channels -- 100 percent commercial-free music channels, over 30 channels of news, sports, talk and entertainment, and over 20 channels of traffic and weather information. To listen to XM Satellite Radio, you need an XM Connect and Play Antenna (not included) and a subscription to XM Satellite Radio service. The RXD211S also has a SIRIUS input and SIRIUS control on the included remote control.

Digital Acoustics Processor - The JVC Digital Acoustics Processor (DAP) allows digital recreation of acoustic environments, like halls and pavilions, in your media room. JVC developed a new sound field simulation technology jointly with one of the leading concert hall designers and contractors. Capable of handling multichannel sources, it makes use of a vast amount of data for the creation of sound field patterns that are difficult with conventional processing systems based on field-measured impulse responses. Each sound field pattern is verified and modified repeatedly by critical auditions. The result is that sound fields are reproduced most naturally, with early reflections simulated realistically. Just push a button and your entertainment room sounds like a Dance Club or one of the other incredibly realistic virtual venues.

Works Well With Others - The AV COMPU LINK Control System gets your entire audio/video system (TV, VCR and receiver) up and playing, simply by loading a prerecorded tape into your VCR. It works for DVD playback too. Just load a disc into a JVC DVD player and press the PLAY button to make all your system ready. Quick Speaker Set-up allows you ease of set-up, just input the room size and number of speakers and the receiver takes care of the rest.
