Bought this TV about 7 months ago...have had NO problems, and did not have to make any adjustments. It was perfect right out of the box.

The JVC HD56G657 really surprise me. Excellent Picture, Excellent in all fields. Didn't need a stand, due to the fact I didn't need one with my cabinet. This is the first time I have a TV that was set up, in the number one factory settings a set I have ever seen, and I have seen many. Way to go JVC.

We have had no problems with this T.V. No one has complained at all of a "halo" look. It does take some time to "fire up" and if you turn it off you need to wait again. This is a minor problem. The picture in HD is to die for, non HD is a not bad, but not great either. My wife and I really enjoy the football games in HD and believe we got a really great TV. One irritation was that Buy.com wanted to ship this TV as though a new company policy was no caffeine. This JVC HDTV is a GREAT BUY, it has a GREAT picture.

...and in this case, it's not much. While this T.V. works really well with the HD stations, non HD stations as with other projection T.V. just doesn't cut it. I've only had it for a few days and will update this next week, but IMHO, with this T.V., low price does mean low performance.
