5 of 5 Quick setup practice net. Friday, August 28, 2009 A Customer from Madison, NC
This is a great net to practice softtoss and makes a great back catcher when batting. To fold it back can be tricky, but if you are patient and follow the directions, it's not too bad. Was this review helpful?

Really great product!!! Little hard to fold up at first but a little practice, no problem. Our league had these and we looked at other brands but this one is truely the best in all aspects. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The best hitting net I've used Monday, March 30, 2009 Dan from Memphis, TN
I have used this every practice for hitting and as a backstop and I am pleased 100%. I will most likely purchase another for additional drills. Sets up is as advertised quick and easy. I give this two thumbs up in every category. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great for practices Thursday, March 05, 2009 Robert T from New York, NY
I bought this after another coach I teamed up with last year had one and it was great. Practices are a breeze. Hitting off the tee, pitching, soft toss, you name it. It's even great when you have batting practice without a catcher and not have to worry about picking up baseballs all over the place.
The instructions were a bit vague, till I finally figured out what the illustrations were trying to portray when you try to close this thing. After you flip it over and you step on the jugs symbol, the top ring gets tucked into itself before you fold the 2 sides together. That is as easy as I can explain it.
Overall a great piece, and for the price on buy.com, it was the cheapest by far. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product! Monday, March 02, 2009 Steve Ganassin from Bloomington, IL
I use this for the girls travel softball team I coach. It is easy to set op and take down. It is definitely big enough for any practice drills we have. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product Monday, September 01, 2008 A Customer from Providence, RI
I've used the instant screen three or four times for pitching baseballs into and it's great. I think it would work well for hitting soft toss too. The screen is really well designed with a solid structure but also provides a lot of give in the netting to absorb baseballs. It comes with stakes, which I haven't needed since I've only been throwing into it, but they may be necessary for hitting soft toss. Read the instructions for setting up and especially taking down. The taking down is not difficult, but it's not intuitive either. Good luck figuring it out without the instructions. They provide a pocket to keep the instructions on the carrying bag which is helpful because it's easy to forget the steps. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent buy and product Monday, July 21, 2008 A Customer from Tempe, Az
Product came as described, new and with warranty. I was a little reluctnact to purchase it thru Buy.com because wasn't aware of their service. I would purhcase more items thru here now. Great service and product delivered as promised.
Now the product, using it almost everyday with my daughter. It took a couple tries to fold it the first time, but once you get it, its really not that hard. Easy to carry and take anywhere.
If you looking for something like this, this is the one.
And the price, very nice. Its hard to find at any regular store and most of them will order it for you or you order it online at their store. Some sites charge you anywhere from $30-50 to deliver it.
Buy.com is free if you want it in 7-10 business. There are other options available if you want it sooner for alot smaller fee than any of the stores.
Buy It.. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Jugs Screen easy setup Monday, June 30, 2008 A Customer from Pleasanton, CA
I have purchased various nets before settling on jugs instant screen. I attempted to save a few dollars but found other nets are more difficult to set up, as I coach teams at various locations and needed to set it up and break it down fast. The net is durable, the major fault I find is with the cover. It rips at the seam quite easily (been through three covers), so be extra careful when removing and replacing the net into the cover. I agree with prior comments that the net does rip after heavy usage, and have found shoe strings to be a good tool for keeping the holes from growing. Fortunately Jugs does not over charge for additional stakes and cover. I purchased from Jugs an additional cover for $10 and each stake is only $1. My wife double stitched the cover seams, and that appears to have done the trick. In terms of stability, there are stake holders around the net. We have used this net in high wind areas, and it doesn't move. You will find almost all coaches pick this net. Highly recommend. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Jugs net is unbelievable Monday, June 23, 2008 richaph from Oshkosh, WI
The Jugs net is a great item. It is big enough to hit balls into before tournament expecialy when there is not a lot of room to hit around the diamonds. It is a great pitching back stop. The net goes up and comes down in literally minutes. This is a great value! Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Not bad, but I wouldn't get it again Tuesday, June 10, 2008 A Customer from Rockville, MD
I'm sure it works fine, but I get the sense that my son is going to blast a ball past this thing because it's not really that big. I've seen others that are more like tents and I wish this one was more like that. He's used it once or twice and now it just sits in our backyard. I wouldn't get it again. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great portability Monday, May 26, 2008 A Customer from Monterey Park, CA
The jugs instant screen is a great product. It is easy to set-up, and with practice, easy to take down. I am able to help my kids (4 and 8) with batting practice without having to go the park. And it conveniently folds up and out of the way (which my wife likes). Don't let the take-down scare you, after three or four times you'll be a pro. If you want the ability to get in a few extra swings in before a game, or just want to get some frustration out by hitting the old hard ball, the instant screen has no substitute. Hope this helps! 5 of 5 Jugs Instant Screen Monday, May 19, 2008 Carol from Massachusetts
I bought this for my son-in-law's birthday, but the whole family is enjoying it. He uses it for golf practice, and the boys use it for a baseball backstop, or soccer practice. It made a big hit all around. The storage is convenient, altho it takes Dad to be able to fold it up properly. It seems quite durable, and is just right for their small back yard. 5 of 5 Easy to store and set up. Thursday, February 14, 2008 A Customer from Basking Ridge NJ
This backstop is great. It takes a little getting used to but if you follow the direction it folds right up and goes back in the pouch. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 The Jugs Instant Screen is the best in this catego Monday, June 11, 2007 Dan from St. Louis, MO
I have pretty much worn out 2 screens over the course of about 5 seasons of very heavy use. Actually, the thing that wears out first is the netting. The rest of the product is very well constructed. In terms of folding it up, it is tricky at first. However, I can fold up one of these in about 30 seconds. Whenever you go to a youth baseball/softball tournament, you will see more of these nets than any other. By the way, a good way to repair the netting is to weave an old shoe string through the area with the hole. I repaired my current net this way, and it works great. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Jugs Instant Screen Tuesday, October 31, 2006 A Customer from Fairfax, VA
Overall I am satisfied with the product. It is easy to set up. It is good for batting practice and my kids enjoy it. It is not as easy to repack. I may have not repacked it enough to become good at it yet. I think it may get easier to repack the more I get used to breaking it down and refolding it. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for value only because I believe all of these types of products are over priced, however in comparison to similar products it is priced well. The 4 out of 5 for overall satisfaction only has to due with me not being able to repack it easily. If through use I find that it becomes easy to repack then the rating will be a 5.
