JT USA Delta Faceguard Airsoft Mask

These were the original "full" face masks meant for paintball in the 90's. They were a well thought out replacement for the old Woodstalk style faceshield that most old timers grew up with (if they even used facemasks). However, with all the lawsuits and sniffeling parents out there pressuring fields to upgrade their safety measures, this longtime paintball trooper was banned from paintball but luckily resurected for airsoft duty. Which is awesome, since this is the best woodsball mask there ever was, and during those few "banned" years it was impossible to find! Note that This review is for use in paintball, since that is what it was designed for. I would not recommend for airsoft, since it is quite easy to sneak a 6mm ball in from the side and nick molars, whereas the 68s catch on the faceplate and splatter. If you're that afraid of getting one in the face, just go all out and get a burlap sack to put over your head! These are the perfect paintball masks for weekend play amongst friends in the woods. They are cheap and small enough to carry an extra for new recruits, yet sturdy enough to customize into your own stalker. PROS: Very light, breaths very well, does not get caught on anything, comfortable due to the weight and balance. Stays on your face. Smaller target, the minimal size will cut down on how often you get hit in the head, even if it hurts more when you do. Holds spraypaint very well for on the field camo jobs. Lenses are replaceable, facemask can be removed for goggles only use. No extra parts or straps hanging off. Cheap. Looks very aggressive and similiar to the predator's mask. CONS: Face protection only (this can be a pro or a con, if you pee your pants when you get nailed in the temple, get a full face instead) Fogging, since this is 90's technology, they still use the older non-antifog single lenses. Buy some cat crap to rub on them or get a fan. However, they will fog less than full faces in extreme weather due to the better ventilation (read: unbeatable in the snow, tropics, or delta.) If you expect to get hit 50 times in the face while popping over a bunker... don't play. But if you want a convenient mask for playing with friends that will last a lifetime, the JT WhipperSnapper (as they were called in the day) ps. pull off the gay earpieces, and hear the battlefield. You'll be running circles around everyone else.

The JT airsoft mask is by far the choice product to include in your load-out. As you are all aware more airsoft fields are imposing regulations requiring players to wear full facial protection. The problem is paintball masks simply do not fit the bill...However this product does. Features include a safe protection rate of 500fps. Soft ear protection that can be adjusted to deal with tactical headsets, Further with a fog free lens....means less wiping and more playing on the field. The only drawbacks is the color I'd would prefer an OD, and other patterns such as digital woodland, and ACU patters for starters. However for under $20.00 on average....it's a great deal. With a VORTEX II fan attachment. You have a cost economical solution. Get your's today
