I wish they had any kind of written explanation about usage on Window Vista. Only reason I got this product was to move files from my old desktop to new labtop, but the program to use this cable didn't run in Vista. I just waisted money on nothing. If you are trying to use this cable to a computer that runs based on VISTA, don't even bother.

Not. I bought one of these from Buy. It is not compatible with windows VISTA, despite what the product write up says. VISTA will not recognize the cable device without a driver, and there is none to be found online The driver and software that comes with it is for XP and older systems only. The manufacturer does not have any driver for VISTA either. VISTA comes pre-equipped with EASY TRANSFER software, but that requires a different cable. Was this review helpful?
