| | eannie and her father Royce were The Kendalls, a highly successful country duo who had a string of Top 40 singles starting in the late '70s, including the number one hits "Heaven's Just A Sin Away," "Sweet Desire" and "Thank God for the Radio." In 1978, The Kendalls won the Grammy award for Best Country Duo.
The new album started as an acoustic Kendalls record, but only a few tunes into the project, Royce Kendall sadly passed away. After taking some time off, Jeannie decided to finish the recording, and release it as a Jeannie Kendall album.
Featuring special guests Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Allison Moorer, Rhonda Vincent, Ricky Skaggs, Union Station - and Jeannie's father, the late Royce Kendall.
