    4 of 5 Good value Friday, July 10, 2009
    A Customer from Phoenix, AZ

My biggest complaint is ear fit. It doesn't stay in your ear and the ear loop that is provided is a bit tight (small), promoting this instability. However, it will fall out of my ear if I don't use the loop. The rubber piece surrounding the speaker is too thick, which is the main cause of the poor fit, with the ear loop being the secondary cause. I have a foam cover from my old headset speaker that improved the fit and comfort slightly when I put it on this one. The overall performance of the headset is very good. It turns on quickly, answers quickly, and has good range. The power on/off and call answer/hang-up tones are distinctive and a good confirmation of what is going on with the headset. I haven't had any static issues. The power button is a little small and hard to use, which is the only negative I can find with the headset operation. Like others have stated, pairing doesn't work like the instructions that come with it say. But once I knew what to do, had no issues with it. Also like others said, it has a Verizon label on it. It would be an outstanding product if it just had decent ear fit, but it's still a great value with this annoyance.

4 of 5 Can't be beat for the price Wednesday, July 08, 2009
    Eric from Florida
I couldn't get it to work at first, but after an email to Jabra (only took them an hour to respond to a tech support email.. suprising), it was working fine. It wouldn't go into pair mode at first. They told me to turn off the power, charge it for about 5 seconds, turn it back on, then press and hold the multi-function button for about 10 seconds until the light is solid. Why they don't tell you this in the instructions, who knows. It's branded with the Verizon logo, and I'm using it with a Verizon LG enV Touch. I don't have too much bluetooth experience (mainly helping a few other people out with theirs), so take this review for what it is worth... Sound quality is decent. Most people can barely tell the difference when I'm talking. As far as listening, I wish it were a little louder. Maybe it's because the earpiece doesn't go completely in my ear, but either way... Doesn't sound bad or anything, but definitely doesn't sound as good as the phone's speaker. I'm not a huge talker, so I only have to charge it once every 3 days or so, and it only needs about an hour to be fully charged. I mainly got this unit because it was so cheap and I wasn't sure if bluetooth was something my wife and I would actually use. Now that I know we will, I already ordered a more expensive headset with hopes that it will be a little bit louder. I'm not saying this is a bad headset at all, I just want a little bit better quality and I know I'll have to pay more for it.

4 of 5 Instructions are wrong Monday, July 06, 2009
A Customer from Oklahoma City, OK
To pair the jabra with your phone, you must press the on/off button as well as the center round button at the same time. Once I read to do this, the piece paired fine and worked great. Sound is good on both ends, the earpiece could be more comfortable, but is ok. Great price though!

    1 of 5 NOT A "UNIVERSAL BLUETOOTH" DEVICE Thursday, July 02, 2009
    CW from Chicago, IL
I bought this unit to go with my Motorola T-Mobile phone. It came with "Verizon" on the device and never did work. It appeared to be network or device dependent; nowhere was that stated in any of ads or documentation for this device. Great price, great features, great fit, but I didn't benefit because it wouldn't connect to my T-Mobile phone. I plan to give it to someone with a Verizon service contract to see if they'll have better luck.

5 of 5 Good headset, bad instructions Sunday, June 07, 2009
A Customer from Jersey City, NJ
The manual that came with the bluetooth headset said that in order to reset the bluetooth headset to pair with another phone, I should press the On/Off button for 2 seconds. After several attempts, the headset would not go into pairing mode. After researching internet forums, I found out that I needed to press the On/Off button AND press the answer button to get the headset into pairing mode. Nowhere in the Quick Setup Guide or on Jabra's website does it say anything about hitting the answer button. A lot of people on the forums seem to have this problem.

4 of 5 Can't go wrong for this price. Tuesday, May 19, 2009
    Nathaniel from Belmont, CA
Reception and voice clairity is solid. Fit is good with the included arm, not so without it. 2 cons: Easy to accidentally hang up on a call when trying to fit this headset quickly into your ear & volume/power buttons are super tiny. Range and battery life is excellent. Pairing is simple. I've gone through cheap/expensive b-tooth headsets like potato chips but I think this is a keeper. For 12 bucks though this is hard to beat.

5 of 5 Works better than expected. Monday, May 18, 2009
    RanHefner from Newton, NC
I have a Motorola phone from TracFone and it works great with it. The performance is actually better than using the phone's mic and speaker. Just remember to turn on the bluetooth option on your phone and put it in discover mode. If your phone doesn't find it, press AND HOLD the ANSWER/END call button (big round one) on the headset for at least 10-seconds.

I really enjoy having this bluetooth--especially the price and ease of use. It's very clear and people have said they can hear me very clearly. There's a little discomfort wearing it, but other than that, it's perfect.

    A Customer from Irmo, SC
I bought two of these little headsets. One for me and one for my wife. I had been using a Motorola headset but it had begun to fail and nobody heard me well enough to keep it. I saw these in the email for 1/3 the money and decided to try them. Excellent sound quality and simple to link in.

    3 of 5 Basic headset Monday, April 27, 2009
    A Customer from CA
This is a basic headset, with "verizon" emblazoned on the side. I bought it because online reviews showed it had an A2DP stereo profile, but it doesn't. It also says it comes with 2 earpieces to fit your ear, but it only came with one. This ear fit is a bit large

3 of 5 Sound good, ear piece hurts Monday, April 27, 2009
    Mark from Hartford, CT
I am very happy with the sound quality, however the ear piece is too large to fit in the ear and stay without the supporting wire that goes around your ear. Using the sire makes the ear piece pull away from the ear and you no longer have the sound quality. I am looking for a new bluetooth headset that will rest in the ear just like my IPOD headset.

5 of 5 Great for price Monday, April 27, 2009
A Customer from San Diego, CA
It is a great piece of equipment for the price. The people that I call can't tell I'm using a headset, and they say it sounds as good as normal phone usage. However, the speaker part that fits into the ear is a bit big and not so comfortable. Also, it doesn't seem to connect automatically, but has to be initiated each time my phone goes out of range and back. Overall, can't complain too much, great price on it.

4 of 5 Callers say "sounds muddy" Monday, April 27, 2009
    Flip from Spring, TX
I don't have a great deal of experience with this yet, but after researching online how to get it to sync with my phone (included documentation is worthless), I'm happy with the way it performs and sounds. The people on the other end of the conversation, however, claim I sound muffled/muddy, and this was from calls placed inside (so no external noise or wind interference).

4 of 5 good unit for the price Monday, April 27, 2009
    A Customer from johnstown pa
This is an okay bluetooth for the price. The unit is nice and small but the ear bud is a bit big for my ear and the loop that goes behind the ear will not stay in place as well as my last Jabra. I'm hoping in time it will loosen up and stay on better.

I was pleasantly surprised when this ear piece arrived. Other reviews indicated it might not fit my small ears well, but I find this ear piece more comforatble than others I've tried. It wouldn't pair with my Verizon XV6900 until I followed the instructions another reviewer posted. I just ordered a second one for my teenage son.

    The dude. from Batesville, In
I've never owned a bluetooth headset, but after a couple sore necks thought it was time to look into one. Has good call quality and plenty loud. I had a little trouble getting it to pair (press the answer/end button for 12 seconds). Would recommend that you check jabra's website for compatibility.

    4 of 5 Works well with Nokia 5610 Sunday, March 29, 2009
    Joseph from Pearland, TX
It took only several seconds to pair with my Nokia 5610. The range indoor with walls was about 25 feet. Those at the receiving end said that the voice was clear and true. I bought two units under separate orders and the sound and voice quality appeared to have varied. To reduce the size of the earbud, I replaced the rubber earbud cap with a foam cover from a pair of spare earphones.

4 of 5 Excellent price for a good ear piece Saturday, March 28, 2009
    Jason from Hillsboro Oregon
Holds a charge under heavy use all day. Easy to pair with an iPhone. Stays attached to your ear under vigourous activities. Does pick up some background noise. (I have 2 of these) People tell me that they can hear alot of road noise while Im driving, but they can also hear me well. A great value for a throw away item. Buy 2 of these if you are a heavy user.

5 of 5 Great bargain, works well, fits snugly Wednesday, March 25, 2009
    Lisa from Jasper GA
It hooked right up with my AT&T Motorola (even though the Jabra carries a small "Verizon" logo). The bud fits snugly right into my ear, better than previous Jabra models - snugly enough that it stays in without the hook over my ear. Probably too snug to wear all day long. A real bonus is that the over-ear hook easily snaps on and off - it won't break off like my previous one did. The on-off button is also an improvement. The controls for volume are a bit stiff, though.

3 of 5 Not for small ears Tuesday, March 24, 2009
    Dave from Raymore, MO
Overall, this is a good value for a bluetooth headset. The sound quality was pretty good and the range was excellent. Unfortunately, the earbud is too large for my wife's ears and this will have to be returned. Even with the ear loop, she can't keep this one in place. Product description doesn't really allow you to see the "under side" of unit. We'll likely be getting a Motorola headset as I've seen them and the "bud" that fits into the ear is tiny.

3 of 5 Get what you pay for Wednesday, March 18, 2009
    Anton from Rocky River, OH
OK sound quality. Better then my BlueAnt but worse then Motorola. Poorely responsive buttons. Push hard and hold long to turn on/off a dedicated power button. Volume controls incoveniently located. Counterintuitive operation. Unique power connector - you can't use your micro-USB charger in the car with it. Holds charge poorely as compared to my older BlueAnt and Motorola sets. You will not be able to pare it without reading the manual, which was reprinted so many times that it is barely readable, or maybe it was printed on 100 year old pre-Xerox copier? You get what you pay for.

    3 of 5 Adequate headset Wednesday, March 18, 2009
    A Customer from Indianapolis, IN
I was disappointed in the performance of this headset. It is very lightweight which is a good thing. The battery life is pretty good. The speaker part of the headset is HUGE though and hurts my ear if I wear the headset for a long period of time. The worst thing about it is that it is very hard to understand what the caller is saying. The volume is loud enough, it just makes everything sound kind of garbled. But, for an inexpensive headset, this one is OK.

Great deal! It's fairly good in volume, although sometimes in the car I have difficulty hearing the other person. The plug for it is weird-I have to pull really hard to get it out when it's done charging. Other than that, it's pretty good.

I ordered this for my new Motorola phone, not compatible. Tried it with an older (blue tooth) Motorola, still incompatible.

Great price for a great item. small compact design is great, it is really light and portable. feels like you are not wearing a bluetooth headset. the reception quality is great and to top of it was a great price.

I m using it since one week. Its a kinda problem for me to unplug it for charging. I have to pull it real hard. Apart from that rest of the stuff is really awesome, ppl say they can hear me without any noise, amazing range......Damn gud for $12....

4 of 5 Works well enough Wednesday, March 04, 2009
    A Customer from Beltsville, MD
Had no problems pairing this headset with my phone (Samsung i760 from Verizon). Fits my ear well enough. Sound quality is good but not great. Sometimes the volume is a bit low in my ear, though people haven't had any problems hearing me. Overall for the price, you can't beat it.
