4 of 5 great deal Wednesday, November 28, 2007 A Customer from Austin, TX
you cant beat the price on the headphones... thats for sure. But i had two little things that bother me. The first is i have to reset my bluetooth settings everytime i wanna use it. It is like it forgets what devices it was using and i only use my cell phone and ipod. And also while you are connected a blue light continues to blink while you listen to your music. Sometimes i feel like im a 737 landing at the airport at night when i am running with them on. Other than that they are great. Sound is good and no wires! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Jabra Bluetooth Stereo Hands-Free Headset and Blue Tuesday, September 25, 2007 A Customer from Chino HIlls, CA
Great sound. Easy to pair up with my cell phone and IPOD. It only took 2 tries. Headphones a bit big and stand out to walk around with them on and the flashing light when on, is distracting to others. Good sound, easy to play, pause and stop. Easy to use to change from cell to IPOD once you get used to which side does what. Was this review helpful?

The sound quality is excellent, although not as good as my Shure E4c in the ear headphones, and the sound quality is not fatiguing after listening for a while like with some headphones. Tonal balance is not colored, and the sound is relatively transparent. I would never know I was listening to wireless headphones if I was blingfolded.
The ipod dock connector dongle works, and it allows the headset to control the ipod to skip forward or back through the songs in my playlist. Even better, they can be connected to a cell phone and the ipod dock connector AT THE SAME TIME, and music pauses when a phone call is answered.
It will also connect to both the headphone and headset profile AT THE SAME TIME on phones that have music players - like my LG VX8600, Motorola Q, and Audiovox XV6600 PPC phone with the Broadcom bluetooth patch. I also tested it at the AT&T store with the iPhone - using the iPhone's bluetooth headset profile for phone calls and the dock connector dongle for the stereo music since the iPhone doesn't have A2DP built-in). It worked fine. I did neglect to try both AT THE SAME TIME. But, it should work.
Highly recommended. The only "con" is that they are easy to accidentally turn on when you don't want them to turn on. I am looking for something like a plastic cap from a spray can that I can tape over the button to protect the power button from unwanted activations. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A Great Idea With A Few Areas for Improvement Wednesday, June 27, 2007 A Customer from Denver, CO
The Jabra headset and iPod adapter are amazing in what it does for such a reasonable price. Headphone quality is good and the speaker also seems to work well. Setup is a little complicated, having to link both cellphone and iPod adapter to the headset, but once done, it all works well. The bluetooth range seems a bit worse than I hoped for and some things, like the microwave totally block the bluetooth communication. Also, it is possible that the battery life on the iPod adapter may not be so great, but here I have only a couple of tests. But overall, as an electronics toy junkie, I'm really glad I got this. 4 of 5 Great Value for the $$ Tuesday, June 26, 2007 A Customer from Atlanta, Georgia
Very easy to set up initially, took a long time to charge both units. Have noticed like mentioned with other reviews when listening to ipod periodically cuts out but momentarily returns, not a big deal for me. Phone feature works well also used for skype as my laptop has bluetooth build in. When sync with both phone and ipod, works well when phone call comes in, music pauses then when call has ended music returns. Definitely wait for this to go onsale, i paid $59 for it with free shipping. Good experience so far. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great for the price Tuesday, June 26, 2007 Andrew from St. Petersburg, FL
I am currently using this device between 3 units, my cell phone, my iPod, and my laptop, and other than switching the configuration between devices it works like a dream, the behind the head strap is a little snug on my head but not to the point that it is painful or distracting, and after a few minutes of wearing it I don't even notice it. the controls on the earpieces take some getting used to, as half are on one ear and half are on the other, and remembering which side is which took some getting used to. battery life is exellent and sound quality is very crisp. I also have the complaint that the iPod adaptor does not hold into the iPod very well but is easily fixed with a large rubberband Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Could be Louder Friday, June 22, 2007 Carl from Syracuse NY
The sound quality is excellent with acceptable bass, it could be a little louder, but it should be fine for most users. Pairing the unit was easy for the phone, a little harder for my ipod. I seem to get some interference when pairing both my ipod and my LG8100 cell phone, but in all fairness my phone is probably the culprit. You can't beat the price anywhere! The ipod adapter alone sells for $49.95 elsewhere. Free shipping took 2 days to upstate NY ! I always have a great purchase at Buy.com! Was this review helpful?

If you are wanting to use the headset while jogging, you will probably be disappointed. It does not allow for any adjustment for headsize and the "behind the head" design does not give any support when making rapid movements (slips off ears). Otherwise for casual listening and light walking, the headset is fine.
The sound quality is superior, both with my iPod and my LG Fusic. The pairing was super simple. The only change I needed to make on my LG Fusic was to enable stereo signals. The iPod just worked as before.
In both cases, the headset controls the BT device, and once you get the hang of what button(s) to push, etc., you never need to touch the transmitting BT device except to power off/on. The biggest problem I'm having is when repositioning the headset after it slips around on the head is activating one of the buttons that controls the BT device - annoying, but not a deal breaker by any means.
Overall, the Buy.com price was a great buy and the device performs very well. Was this review helpful?

Apple dropped the ball with wireless for the iPod. The Jabra A125s is a fairly good solution for this, especially when paired with the Jabra BT620s. The sound quality is excellent, no static or hissing of any kind common with cellphone bluetooth connections. Pairing and setup was EXTREMELY easy, so much easier than I expected for bluetooth. It can also be firmware updated from Jabra with the USB connection. The only drawback to the device is its extremely poor and weak physical connection to the iPod. It does not have the side "prongs" to lock it into the iPod and will come loose quite easily if rubbed up against. So without a strong rubber band, you cannot keep it an a pocket. Overall it is still an adequate solution and I would recommend it to others. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great set Friday, April 20, 2007 A Customer from Revere, MA
Very comfortable and easy to set up both for phone and ipod. THe i pod attachment could have a stronger connection so i leave it in my back pack but easy to run the pod from the headset to its not a problem. Very light weight and rather quick charge times and lots of play time before recharge the pod will die before the headset and transmitter. Great with voice dialing bluetooth phone.
