It's Pat: The Movie catapults America's favorite gender-bender to the big screen and delivers an outrageously funny adventure! With a cast of nutty characters obsessed with discovering Pat's true secret, It's Pat: The Movie is a wild, wacky, and incredibly revealing escapade that just has to be seen to be believed!
 Editor's Note
The androgynous "Pat" of "Saturday Night Live" fame makes, uh, it's big screen debut, and it's no easier to tell if Pat's a he or a she. Pat pursues Pat's goals oblivious to the confusion, embarrassment and even obsession afflicting those around the walking human paradox that is Pat.
 Plot Summary
Look up the word "androgynous" in the dictionary, and you just might find a picture of Pat. However, Pat is completely unaware that her asexual appearance and manner cause utter confusion in her friends, co-workers and neighbors, who desperately want to know Pat's gender. And they try every trick in the book to figure it out -- but Pat defeats them every time.| Adding to the wackiness is Pat's best friend Chris -- a hippie who's just as gender-unspecific as Pat. Meanwhile, Pat's androgyny does not prevent him/her from having an admirer, Kyle, who is determined to uncover whether Pat's a he or a she. Will he succeed? And if he does, what will the answer be?

| | Professional Reviews | L.A. Times 3 of 10 Directed nominally by Adam Bernstein, It's Pat has nothing going for it but Michelle Minch's witty production design. Pat lives in a wonderful '50s L.A. apartment house; his/her own unit is decorated entirely with '50s furniture and bric-a-brac, while Chris' apartment is pure tropical lounge--all that's missing are tiki torches and Martin Denny on the phonograph. The whole question of sex blurring deserves an infinitely better film than It's Pat. - Kevin Thomas
