A young and handsome, first generation Italian immigrant takes a job as a male escort in order to pay off gambling debts and support his multi-generational family. But thing’s don’t go as planned. Pizza restaurant owner Leonardo loves his luscious wife Anna, even if she shops the finest clothing stores faster than his counter attendant can knead dough. Leonardo’s bigger money problem is his compulsive gambling. In his cash vulnerability, Leonardo agrees to join Kathy’s male-escort service for rich women posing as a count. This is only the beginning of ever increasing complications for Leonardo, involving mother-in-laws, priests, debt collector’s Italian-style, smoke-filled back-room dealings and, of course, food.

Leonardo is a pizza restaurant owner with money problems thanks to his wife, Anna, and his own gambling problems. In desperation, he decides to seek outside money the only way he knows how: by becoming a male escort for wealthy, lonely women. Soon Leonardo's life is more complicated than ever as he tries to juggle his wife, restaurant, and several other women. A bubbly farce that takes standard Italian stereotypes and makes them fresh again.
