If you need a product to scan lines from double spaced, legal docs... This product might work well for you. If you are a student (like myself) wanting to scan parts of a textbook... maybe so... maybe not... This product "jibberdized" my microbiology textbook into a totally non-usable (sometimes humorous) form. Small, tightly spaced lines scan so poorly and require so much re-edit that a full page scanner with good OCR is much more effective... Even my direct typing is more effective and that doesn't say much for this product... Unless you've got big, very readable text... Forget it!
