The Iomega® StorCenter™ Pro ix4-100 NAS Server offers easy-to-use, powerful and affordable network storage for any small business or remote office. Based on enterprise-class EMC® storage technology, the StorCenter Pro ix4-100 provides fast data throughput; easy file sharing; and RAID 5, RAID 10, or JBOD configurations; and UPS support for additional data protection. It includes an easy-to-use interface with robust features, including print server, media server, Windows Active Directory support, IP security camera support, folder quotas, Bluetooth® upload and torrent download options. Hot-swap SATA II hard drives minimize downtime and allow for easy replacement, plus award-winning EMC® Retrospect backup software and RSA® BSAFE® encryption for protected installs and upgrades are included for advanced backup and security. It is available in 2TB and 4TB capacities, and is also VMware certified for NFS on ESX server.

Active Directory Support: Functions as a client member in an Active Directory domain allowing the Iomega® StorCenter™ ix4 Network Storage to utilize the domain users and groups
Virtual Environment Support: VMWare certified for NFS on ESX Server 3.
Folder Quotas: Easily manage capacity by setting a maximum for shared storage folders.
UPS Support: Enables unattended system shutdown via the USB port without data loss in the case of extended power failure
Expandability: Add storage capacity by connecting external USB Hard Disk Drives. The ix4 supports read and write on Fat32, NTFS or ext2/ext3 formatted hard disks.
Print Server: Intelligent print sharing capability for up to 4 USB printers directly connected to the ix4
System Dashboard: Provides a one-stop-shop for status information on space utilization, device, peripheral, and backup status
Alerts: If the device detects a problem, an email alert is sent to one or more email addresses.
Security Camera: Connect up to 2 Axis® network security cameras. Captures and stores video without the need of a dedicated PC
Advanced Media Support: Includes UPnP™ support through an integrated DLNA™ certified media server. Also supports PTP and Bluetooth® upload (Bluetooth USB adapter required, sold separately).
Torrent Download: Torrent is the new standard in peer-topeer file sharing. Direct file transfer to your StorCenter are easier, faster and more reliable – especially with large media files.
Software Compatibility: Compatible with today’s most common backup software titles, web browsers, media devices and computers
Software Included: EMC Retrospect Backup Software including unlimited client licenses and the capability to launch and obtain status reporting by the ix4
