    I needed a portable high capacity drive to store a whole season of lacrosse team game videos. Ordered this drive on a Thursday and it was delivered on Saturday using the free shipping option. Buy.com always come thru on fast shipping even with the free shipping option. Plugged in the drive (fortunately my laptop has two USB ports side-by-side) and within a half hour had 100GB of video loaded. Works great so far - read / write speed is excellent. Nice small size fits in the laptop bag. No external power (it does have a plug for wall power but the cable is not included) but you don't want that if you are using it to watch movies on a plane. Would be nice to have a small bag to keep the cable and drive together in one place.

    I have a mac and run windows on it as well and wanted to watch movies between the two using the hard drive. It works with both and has faster transfer speed than I was expecting with only one usb connected. The only downside is the USB has two connections for faster transfer speed. If you have a mac, you can't connect both without an extension adapter.
