The price after the $30 rebate is good. It is ease to use and quiet. The only one thing I noticed is that sometimes when you done with the drive and wanted to stop the USB port so that you can remove from the system safely, but it will display that the USB port is in use even though nothing is opened on the drive. Apart from that, I'm happy with the product.

This external hard drive was delivered quickly, and both the order and rebate process were very straightforward. The hard drive is sleek and attractive but more importantly was extremely easy to use. There was no annoying software needed - just plug it in and drag folders/files over. I was pleased with the speed of transfer as well. It works well & is very quiet. I've used it to download 20gb worth of pictures from 2 computers. Comes with a power cord. The only concern I have is that when I try to reject the drive using the the safely remove hardware feature, it stalls and says it is still in use when it is not. I waited an hour and nothing, so I just turned off the computer. With the rebate, it remains a great deal. The free shipping from buy.com was pretty fast. Was this review helpful?

This was the first time I bought anything from buy.com and I was really impressed with the speed with which the hard drive was delivered. It arrived at my house in less than 48 hours using only standard delivery. The drive was strictly plug and play and I was running backups 5 minutes after I got it out of the box.
