They to me are like HP printers. Reliable. Iomega made the best zip drives, that are very functional, and lasts for years with no problems. Forget the fancy stuff. This one very easily stores your files and is attractive looking. (Smaller than i thought). Times are tough and i feel so much better I have it. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this product for three reasons: (1) Iomega is an excellent brand of hard drives; (2) the online price was very low; and (3) in my experience, Buy.com provides excellent service. The hard drive arrived less than 24 hours from buying the product online (economy shipping!). It arrived in excellent condition, installed with no effort, and has been working perfectly ever since. After unpacking, I immediatley set out to transfer 47Gb worth of files, which took a little while, but it went without a hickup. With such a huge capacity it'll take years to fill it all up. The wall transformer is a switching power supply type which stays totally cool when it remains plugged-in 24/7 and the drive is not in use. Great product, thank you Buycom. Was this review helpful?
