5 of 5 Excellent Product Tuesday, April 14, 2009 IcrapMyself from Springfield, IL
This is a great sounding and easy to use product. The bluetooth is perfectly sync'd to the audio and the headset fits comfortably around my head. The battery life is very good and the charging kit charges both the headphones and the transmitter quickly. I highly recommend this product. A+++ Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good option for the treadmill Sunday, January 18, 2009 A Customer from Holland, Michigan
I wanted a wireless headset to listen to the TV/radio while sweating on my treadmill. I bought this product because it included the Bluetooth transmitter, not just the headset. The headset is comfortable enough, but the earcups are a bit bigger than I expected. The transmitter connected easily to my TV and radio using the standard headphone jack, but I have to insert it just right (depth) to get stereo. The range is a bit disappointing--I get drop-outs when I'm more than 12 feet away. I paired the headset with my Verizon (HTC) Blueberry to listen to the music. The next/previous controls don't work correctly--better to navigate with the phone. Was this review helpful?

This is a real nice pair of devices. It is a shame the headphones could not fit anyone in my family. One size only, NO adjustment? If the distance between your ears behind your head, or the shape of your head is not the same as the headphones they just don't fit. Even worse is the over the ears problem. If the shape of your ears are wrong or too big they won't fit between the speaker pads and the bracket. This is the first non-adjustable headphone I have ever seen...and the last I hope. 4 of 5 Bit pricey, but a good performer Monday, December 15, 2008 A Customer from Largo Florida
I bought these Iogear headphones to replace a Jensen WBT212 that I have used for a couple years, but whose battery gave it up. The Jensens are no longer available. Overall, the Iogear performs similarly.
Positives: Long battery life; charge both batteries with a single USB cable; decent sound quality (if you don't expect audiophile-level quality).
Negatives: Not very comfortable; doesn't stay folded; have to hold power buttons for several seconds to power on and initiate sync. With the Jensens, just flip the switches to On and they sync quickly.
Overall a decent performer, but I feel that they could be priced quite a bit lower for what you get. Bought 'em anyway because there are few similar choices available. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Pretty good value for the money Saturday, December 13, 2008 Floridafraze from Cocoa, FL
Pro:
Sound quality is quite good.
They include every attachment you could think of to use with it, including a 1/8" mini to 1/4" phono plug converter, AND a detachable microphone. Excellent.
Setup is very quick & easy.
Con:
At greater distances (~50') the range is somewhat dependent upon the orientation of the transmitter and your location relative to it. Coverage is greater straight out from the TX/antenna than 90degrees to the sides. (Not a problem for my application, which is sitting in the same room watching TV - not waking others sleeping).
I'm used to normal over-the-head headphones, not behind-the-head style - they take some getting used to!
Over all...they do a better job than I ever expected and they sound great...especially for the money. I'd recommend them.

2 of 5 Bad build quality - bad range Wednesday, February 14, 2007 Manu from Houston, TX
In less than a month of use the head phones broke into two from the portion which joins the two ear pieces - it is made of cheap plastic, I am real disappointed with the quality. The sound is good and its real easy to setup and get going but its got very poor range, the signals broke down in less than 10 feet radius which was very frustrating many a times.
Don't buy this if you want something comfortable, durable and with a little range - its a waste of money. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works great! Wednesday, January 31, 2007 A Customer from Phoenix, AZ
They are quite literally my favorite set of headphones for around the house. They are so convenient. They work great for my MP3 player while working, exercising, or just about anything. The range and sound quality are better than I expected, they are comfortable (could use a bit of padding over the ears for extended periods), with decent battery life, and an included charging system that charges both pieces simultaneously, and can charge over USB or AC. I haven't tried the headset, but that is definitely a nice add-on. They look a little bulky on (just like any over-the-ear phones), but the wireless freedom more than makes up for it! I really like this product!!! Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Good product, better than expected Saturday, December 16, 2006 Sai from TX
I got this headset last week and I am liking it for the wireless freedom and good connectivity to my computer, samsung BT phone and also my MP3 player. It can also be connected to TV, or any system with 3.5 mm pin output or A/V out. It has excellent connectivity with different systems, almost everything you need is included in the kit. Cons: The sound quality is not excellent but good enough. It doesnt sound like ipod or sony MP3 systems, it has to do with the headphone speaker sound system and not the BT. The fit could have been made comfortable, since the ear loops are hard on your skin. Some cushioning would help for a comfortable fit during prolonged usage. If the IOGEAR could improve on the sound quality, this kit would be the best valued product ever. If you don't want excellent quality sound, and want to be connected to your phone while listening to music..go for it! It gives mobile freedom within four walls of your room. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Rocks!!! Thursday, December 14, 2006 Zhi Wei from Austin, Texas
I got the headphone few days ago. It rocks, man! I can walk freely in my house to listen MP3 from my notebook. The range is not far enought for me (may be have to depends on surroundings). The sound quality is good and the accecories is more than what i expect. It comes with a USB charger, a 100-240V compatible charger, Mic, etc... Worth it!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 An awesome product Sunday, December 10, 2006 A Customer from Fremont CA
Bought it at WOW price for $28 (after $10 rebate) after Google checkout (Google deserves another thanks). Thanks to buy.com also as I received the product the very next day. This is one of my best and cheapest buy in recent times.
Once charged both headset and audio transmitter were functioning all good. I got the headset paired with my PC and phones in seconds. I can hear quality sound in any corner of my house. Just love that. One of the best gifts you could give to someone who is a gadget person. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Fantastic Friday, December 08, 2006 A Customer from New York, NY
Works great for music and cell phones. Though the headset does not fit me very well, I am impressed by the overall quality of the product. It was very easy to connect it to my iPod. It took a little longer to connect to my cell phone, but seems to be working fine after it is connected. Great buy for the price. Was this review helpful?

Exactly as the other reviewers say, a little uncomfortable on the ears after a while, and it can get spotty service if not extremely near the device. Haven't figured out how to easily switch from phone mode to music mode and back again without using the phone speaker, or reconfiguring the software Treo 650 is using, but overall it's great. I'd love for one piece of software, possibly AudioSoft's softick to be included for free to interface with the Treo. The adapter/accessories are neat. I was pleasantly surprised when I could watch the movie with sound on the airplane by using these dandy headphones. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Awesome..... Thursday, October 12, 2006 Joshua from Los Angeles, California
I'm thoroughly satisified with the product. The sound clarity is awesome. Earlier I had a normal wireless headphone and had to return ços it never worked. The IOGear has good range and good quality sound. The only issue I face is that you can't adjust the head band. Otherwise, it is simply great.... Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Very handy Saturday, October 07, 2006 A Customer from La Habra , California
It's a great idea! listen to the stereo on the headphones then take a call from the cell phone when someone calls. Too bad one has to go throught the process of matching cell with headphone each time the headset is turned on, but otherwise they work great together. Was this review helpful?

I am very happy - works like a charm - great reception - connects right away. Good sound. People with big ears may have to adjust the earpieces to fit. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Super headpones .. Wednesday, October 04, 2006 ankurbhandari from Jersey City, NJ
Absolutely super reception and clarity - much better than the infra-red speakers I had earlier. Light also - easy to set-up - good battery life. While you can easily move to the next room, it will lose the signal when there are too many walls in between. I havent had the chance to try it in an open space when the distance was more than 20 yds ..
Usage with cellphone is Ok - the reception is very good especially since it is in both ears and not in one. However I feel that there is a slight lag when our voice goes across to the other person - but that may well be a limitation of the bluetooth technology and not necessarily a problem with these..
Overall, a very good purchase.

5 of 5 Amazing Value Tuesday, October 03, 2006 A Customer from houston, tx
I wanted to find a headphone system that i could use while at home so my wife can sleep while i watch tv. I was also looking for a wireless headphone system I could use while traveling so I didn't have to worry about so many cords. This is the best for both and the price is the best of all.
It works great with my treo 650, with my laptop, with my iPod and the USB charger makes it great to travel with.
No doubts, nothing else on market would be even a second choice. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Value for the money Wednesday, September 27, 2006 vcwcpa from Mount Vernon, NY
I have used several Bluetooth headsets and this one outperforms them all and is at least half the price of my other bluetooth headsets.
Volume is excellent, I have no problem hearing when I used the headset for my phone and the volume even held its own in my loud gym.
What I love about it the most, is the ability to switch from the PDA to the phone. I was listening to music on my PDA and suddenly I hear some beeps. I thought the headset was malfunctioning, but it was picking up the signal from my Bluetooth Treo 650. After the phone call was over the headset went back to my PDA and back to the music.
The headset comes with several cables, which enables me to use the headset for almost any audio source.
The sound gets distorted when I don't use adapter with my bluetooth PDA. But of course that is not too bad since bluetooth drains the battery on my PDA. Of course with adapter the headset sounds great and I don't drain my PDA battery.
After spending over $200 on other headsets, I LOVE THIS HEADSET even more, it is a great deal.
Since the headset is bulky, (It folds for storage), it may not be best for use all the time, but at the gym, in the car and at home, its a winner. I have a smaller on which I use, when I want a more discreet look, but its so small it gets lost easily, so I am glad I have an extra headset.

After 2 hrs charging the system out of the box per instruction, it was working right away at the first shot. Absolutely no static like the mongus 900MHz wireless headphone that I had been using. Walking out of my closed office, stepping thru the hall way, entering the other office with closed door behind, the headphone still receiving signal and producing crystal clear music that playing from the comp in my office.
The headphone band was comfortable at first but after more than an hour my outer ear start aching due to the pressure between the earphone and the hook of head band. Other than that this is a perfect wireless headphone that I've ever tried.
It's a good toy to have if you want to enjoy music and having freedom to walk around doing things. Was this review helpful?

It worked very well with my stereo and the PC bluetooth connection but I was not able to make it work with my T-Mobile SDA phone. The phone detected the headset but I was not able to place any calls. If you can make it work with your phone, I'd recommend it. Very good value for the price you pay. Was this review helpful?

I've been using this headset for a couple of months now, and I am happy with it. Initially, I couldn't get over the bulky size of the earphones and the transmitter piece (a.k.a. the "dongle") but its size allows it to retain a decent charge. A cool feature of this unit is the accessories that come with it. There's a cool USB charger to plug it into a PC, there's a wall charger to plug it in when you don't have access to a PC - or just prefer to charge with a wall outlet. There are several other useful accessories, including a microphone piece for BT cell phone users, adapters for A/V plugs on a stereo or other A/V device, and a jack extension for those devices that don't allow you to plug the transmitter directly into them. (Which is a pro and a con, since no one likes a "dongle" that dangles, but we'll concede that the manufacturer did have the forethought to include it.) I've had two of these headsets, and both came with the jack extension with a 'short' in the wire - but this is easy to replace.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the headset's performance. The sound is great, and the signal stays strong 95% of the time. It's perfect for Ipod. However, if you take the jack that’s on the dongle, and move it to one side - a feature of the transmitter to line it up with the base or top of the Ipod - there is nothing to secure it tightly to the Ipod, which leaves it freely swinging around loosely. This oversight by the manufacturer could easily be corrected if they would supply a clip of some sort to hold it in place against the body of the Ipod. Regardless, it works well, especially with the Speck brand Skintight Armband. I haven’t evaluated it with other armbands yet.
For the money, this is a much better headset than most of the others I have seen. The plastic is flexible in the headband, which was a deciding factor for me since I've read so many bad reviews of the Logitech wireless headset.
Until a smaller headset with the same features becomes available, preferably the earbuds style, I would suggest this one over any other brands. Was this review helpful?

They work great. Very good sound !
But Headset is not adjustable and is really only for those with a small hat size.
The poor fit makes them very distracting...defeating the purpose.
And an hour is all I can handle before they just hurt to much.
It's hard to understand how they can make such a great product and ignore the fit........they must only test them on small women !
Back they Go........ Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Nice stereo sound Sunday, February 12, 2006 A Customer from morristown, NJ
This definitely has better sound than the Logitech bluetooth headset. It isn't quite as comfortable but after using it for a the frame takes a better shape. It has good stereo sound and the switching between the phone and the ipod is very efficient. It doesn't have the dynamic range of dedicated headphones but is really quite good for riding around in the NY subways. The microphone is effective also and listeners on the other end have made no complaints. While this isn't the ultimate in terms of performance and comfort, I have given it a pretty high rating of overall satisfaction, based on a comparison to the Logitech equivalent. The way it is designed, it is less likely that the cracking/breaking along the frame that occured with the Logitech won't happen. Was this review helpful?
