| | | Free yourself from confining wires and immerse yourself in music with IOGEAR's wireless Bluetooth stereo headphones!
Now you can comfortably enjoy your favorite music without messing with annoying wires! IOGEAR's Stereo Headphones use Bluetooth technology to let you enjoy music up to 33 feet from the source, in beautifully crisp MP3-quality stereo sound.
IOGEAR's behind-the-neck design makes the headphones very comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time. You can also easily change tracks*, adjust the volume, and pause your music with the integrated headphone control buttons. The built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 6.5 hours of music play time. A built-in microphone supports use with Bluetooth cell phones. You can even pause your music and pick up an incoming phone call with the press of a button.
This unit works with any Bluetooth-enabled device (computer, PDA, MP3 Player) that supports A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles. For devices that do not come with integrated Bluetooth, you may use the IOGEAR Bluetooth Audio Transmitter (GMBA201), which transmits audio signals wirelessly to your Bluetooth Stereo Headphones.
Functionality of the Headphone control buttons require Bluetooth receiver on your music device to support AVRCP profile.

4 of 5 Good function, mild comfort Sunday, May 03, 2009 A Customer from Southern, Ca
The headphones work well with my laptop and my LG Lotus (some funny issues with volume but not a deal breaker.) They are plenty loud and the buttons are easy to find. The only issue is comfort and "look". If you don't attach them to your ears really good they move a bit when you run or do situps, but if you do lock them down they begin to make your ears sore. I used mine for about an hour and a half for four days and I had to start adjusting where I placed them on my ears....just a nuaunce.
Hope this helps. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 good for the price Wednesday, April 01, 2009 jayram from elkridge, MD
These are good Bluetooth stereo headsets, I use it with my phone and also computer for Internet telephony(Yahoo messenger, skype) and to listen to music. I coupled this with jabra A320s bluetooth adapter.the sound quality is great except there is a hiss when the volume is max in the headphones(some static). they have a long battery life but bcome a little uncomfortable after hours of use hanging over your ears. these are clip on type and i could lie down with them over my ears unlike if i use a behind the neck type or over the head one. the price is great. the mic is not that great for Internet telephony. The only reason I gave a two is to give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt since I haven't been able to get a hold of them. They don't have 24 hour service, and I don't have time during the day to call. I like the idea of the product, the design seems nice, but can't get it to pair with 4 different options (one cell phone and three computers). The light doesn't do what they describe in the manual, so I haven't been able to use. Was this review helpful?

I got these from buy.com for $33 and they shipped it in 3 days which is awesome considering the fact free shipping takes 7-10 business days.I have to admit, I wasn't expecting them to be so good but now that I have them i just can't get enough of them..very easy to pair...good looking and very comfortable. They have good bass being so small. Make sure you select Stereo headphones and not Hands free audio when connecting with your PC, otherwise you will end up complaining about the sound. In built mic works fine too. I wasn't able to pair it with both my PC and my phone at the same time but they solve the purpose i bought them for.If they just could have a little more working range it would have been better, but all in all they are totally worth it. 4 of 5 Good deal, functions as expected. Monday, February 23, 2009 Barry from Columbus, OH
I got these on sale for $29 shipped and planned on using them with my newly ordered Samsung Rant. But I actually got a new laptop with bluetooth support and started using them on it before my phone came in. At first, I wasn't too impressed... While I did get them paired with my laptop after installing a new bluetooth stack (Microsoft's default bluetooth stack doesn't work well), but the sound quality was kind of bad. I thought this was the headset at first. But today I finally paired them with my phone (Rant) and found the sound quality to be perfectly fine. So, the sound quality issue seemed to be with the laptop and not the head set.
So, now I'm satisfied. With my Samsung Rant they work flawlessly (I've not tried to use them for calls, just music). The volume controls and track forward/backward skip buttons all work well and I believe are located in very logical positions... that is Volume up is on top. Volume down is on bottom. Skip forward is toward the front and Skip back is toward the back. Makes sense to me and didn't take any time to get used to.
Right now my phone is in my pocket and I'm listening to music and sound quality is great(NOTE: I'm not an audiophile... just a casual listener).
Overall, I'm satisfied. Was this review helpful?

Very easy to use for music playback and remote control for music playback on LG Chocolate 3 phone. Feels awkward on your ears at first as they are bulky and don't expect them to stay on during doing anything more active than sitting around or walking. Bought to use as bluetooth headphones for MP3 player while going for walks and for this function it works great.
HOWEVER, as a phone device the microphone is worthless unless you take it off your ear and shout into the little hole on the right earpiece. Even then caller on other end could barely understand even though headphone user could hear one sided conversation through headphones perfectly. When calls come in there is absolutely no way to use these as a call headset and so I have to switch to another handsfree piece or the phone itself.
Overall, cheap price and works for what it was purchased for (headphones), but don't expect to be able to use this with phone calls at all. Would have been a 4 if call features worked as advertised due to inability to keep them on during semi-active workout. Was this review helpful?

The IOGEAR Wireless Stereo Headset - GBMH211W6 is a very decent headset for the money. Paired easily with my VX6900 phone. None of these headsets do a very good job with call quality, but these are alright.
The big issue for me is that they only come with a USB recharger. Which means either you have to charge your phone near your computer, or charge them in two different places. This is definitely not a convenient set up. Also, the plug is a non-standard mini-usb, so you can't even swap your phone charger to them. Very frustrating.
Sound is good, call sound (hearing) is good, call sound (talking) is less than perfect, picking up a lot of background noise.
Decent value for the money. We need more choices in the wireless stereo headset market though. Was this review helpful?

Stereo audio playback is very good for the cost. Microphone is not great; I've used it successfully for conference calls in a quiet environment, but others hear my voice as quiet / muddied. Pairs fine with my RAZR v3xx and my Dell D620, but not with my iMac Mini (also, note that when using with a phone, it will initially pair in headset mode; you can switch to stereo mode for mp3 playback if your phone supports it [on RAZR, click Options while in Music Player]). Dynamically switches between trusted devices (listening to music on my laptop, I got a call on my phone; the headset switched right over to the call). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice product Tuesday, August 05, 2008 cheenu from Pittsburgh,PA
Initially I had problems connecting the headset to my devices. But later after calling the tech support got it resolved. They told me that there is a connection mode which I can enter by pressing the multi functional button even after the blue light turns up. In the connection mode the blue and red lights glow alternatively. Nothing was mentioned about this mode in the small manual that came along with this product. Other than this small issue the headset is awesome for its price. I would recommend others to buy it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Super deal Thursday, July 24, 2008 RN from MN
Excellent Headset and Stereo, took little time to understand headset and handsfree setup on laptop, once its got set it was amazing, Quality of sound is wonderful,Best performance was when u connect the bluetooth dongle to a USB2.0 port and not to USB1.1 for better quality of sound. Considering it's price ($30-something range), it's a real bargain.
Very good stereo audio quality (not audiophile-grade, but acceptable for computer use and casual music listening), passable handsfree sound and mic pickup quality (you do have to raise your voice a bit, mic needs to be a bit more sensitive), and the battery lasts for a good day's use.
The only thing I didn't like is that you can't use the stereo audio with the mic: whenever a paired device opens the handsfree channel, the stereo audio is muted and you can only hear the monoaural, lower sampling rate & quality handfree audio.
That means that you can't use it to Skype on your computer expecting good quality audio.
Another thing that should be configurable: when switching from stereo to handfree, it should have an option to signal the device to pause playback, and ideally it should be able to turn that on on a per-device basis.
But well, for the price this is a great product. Was this review helpful?

Headphones sound good and are easy to use. The microphone is a tiny hole on the bottom of the right earpiece, If you scream you might get a caller to hold on while you re-route the call through your handset... but maybe not even that. I gave these an oveall 4 because my primary need was for headphones. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 These are really good Wednesday, June 04, 2008 VJ from West Jordan, UT
After using motorola stereo headphones, I wanted to try these since they look lighter in weight and lighter to carry. My first experience was great with the quality of the music. I use these a lot now a days compared to the other headsets. I would certainly recommend to friends. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great value headphones Monday, April 07, 2008 Mike from Cleveland, OH
This is a great value for the money. The sound quality isn't as good as the full cup headphones, but that's now what you're paying for. The bluetooth works flawlessly, and the microphone is excellent. The controls on the side of the headphone is a little less than ideal (my fingers would accidentally hit the wrong buttons),but work fine once you et used to them. The ability to answer calls while in the middle of listening to something else is awesome. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great headphones Tuesday, April 01, 2008 A Customer from St. Louis, MO
I bought these being skeptical but after they arrived and tried them out, I couldn't believe how easy they connected to my phone and the sound was pretty good as well. I use these at work all the time and would definitely recommend Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Headphones Friday, March 14, 2008 Justin from Missoula, MT
I find the headphones to be excellent. Tech specs said they would only go 6 1/2 hours on a charge. I'm getting about 10. Good sound, good connection, fit great. Overall I'm very pleased. Was this review helpful?

The value compared to similar products is incredible. The headset/headphones easily found all my bluetooth access points. Just charge with the USB cable and go. Suggest you check your computer stacks for A2DP and the remote profiles. A bluetooth thumber or stereo audio gateway will have the stacks if you don't find them in your OS. I love this thing. Computer, MP3 player, telephone, TV, you name it. Fits comfortably, and you can control input with the buttons on the right side; next, pause previous, volume, etc. DON'T spend fifty to a hundred bucks. Get this.

2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 2 of 5 Mediocre headphones Wednesday, February 06, 2008 b_intern from Washington, DC
I purchased these headphones for the gym and I was happy to see that they also had microphone capability. Unfortunately, the microphone is pretty bad. They are not too great for working out either, as they move around easily and often. The sound quality is decent, but since the fit is so poor, a lot of that is lost.
Are they a value? I don't know. I think it is ridiculous to pay $35 for headphones and then to be disappointed with them, but it seems bluetooth headsets don't sell for anything less. Was this review helpful?

This is a great bluetooth stereo headset (comfortable, easy to use). However, it does not connect to the IOGear GBMA201 transmitter as described in the product description. This headset will only pair with bluetooth-enabled devices. The GBMA201 will only pair with the GBMA201KIT headsets. Was this review helpful?

I highly recommend these headphones. They are comfortable and easy to put on. I had another brand that were three times the money and the reception came in and out and I couldn't use them for both phone and music (as advertised). It was one or the other. With the Iogear wireless bluetooth headphones, reception is fantastic. I use them for my HTC Tytn phone to watch movies, listen to music and watch TV as well. Hey, I even talk on the phone with them. My movie pauses and I take the call, then go back to my movie where I left off. These headphones synconized with my phone and work in every application I have. They are great! 5 of 5 Great for the price Tuesday, January 01, 2008 A Customer from Las Vegas, Nevada
This is probably one of the best stereo bluetooth headphone I have ever used. I own Motorola, Bluetake (this is the worst) and Jabra. I have tried Sony's also. This is definitely probably the best.
Strong point:
- very reasonable price
- easy to use and pairing
- great crispy sound without static noise as Bluetake
- battery life is excellent
- tried with Samsung sync from Cingular, works good
Weakness:
- color would be better with black instead blue
- LED indicator light is a little too bright, would love it more if there is a control for dimming or completely off
Overall, strongly recommend than any other brand with this price.

I just used the headphones for the first time and thus far I am not impressed. They are easy to use and set-up, but the quality is lacking. The headphones are tinny sounding and the highs are kinda distorted even at low volumes. The clips that go behind the ears are not that comfortable, but better than buds (which I hate). They also only come with a USB charger, which is not travel friendly for me. Also, the product summary states they have a 33 ft range, but they drop after 10-15 ft for me (not that I care since they are synced with my phone's MP3 player).
Spend the money on something better if you can, but if you can't they aren't bad enough that they are unbearable, you will just wish you had better... Was this review helpful?
