5 of 5 Does it get better? Tuesday, May 20, 2008
rinobrin from San Diego CA

I had a cheap set of HDMI 1.3 cables I bought for $8 take a dump on me. Naturally I figured it was because they cost $8. Solution... spend more than $8. I bought these and they are great QUALITY cables. I use a set from my PS3 to my Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD receiver then another to my 1080p TV. The sound is INCREDIBLE and the Picture is JAW DROPPING. The box they came in made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside like I just opened THE HOLY GRAIL of HDMI cable packaging. Of course that was shortly followed by sadness for the 4 trees cut down in the rain forest needed to make the one box for my cables. Seriously buy them. Or just skim through my review and read the bold lettering.... then buy them.

5 of 5 Good product, Great price Wednesday, January 23, 2008
A Customer from Trenton, NJ
For a gold plated cable you can go wrong with the price. Was overall impressed with signal quality of cable compared to regular component cables. The only reason I gave this a 4 on performance rather than a 5 is because when hooked up to TV I noticed viewing quality decreased (pixilation occured) at close viewing range (about 6-7 ft). However when viewed from farther distance (about 12-15 ft.) image quality was superior to that of the old component cables I was using before. The decrease could however have been from the fact that the TV is projection (JVC 58" Ultra Slim 1080p HD-ILA) instead of LCD or Plasma and DVD player (JVC DR-MV78B) or DVD was not HD. Again, good product for great price. Oh, also Buy.com & ANTonline rocks!

5 of 5 Transfers 1s & 0s effectively Saturday, January 12, 2008
Ryan from Alexandria, VA
Cables are so overhyped - If companies that sell expensive cables were in the the business of honesty rather than profit they'd tell you that the ones and zeroes will get from your source to your display over most anything. Quality materials aren't hugely expensive so you're paying a premium for solid construction and aesthetics. When you get beyond the marketing hype, this is solidly built HDMI cable with gold-plated terminal and some cosmetic enhancement at a reasonable price. The fancy packaging did little to enhance the "experience" as i just cut it up to get the $20 rebate. This product would suit someone who requires a 3 meter HDMI cable.

5 of 5 As Promised Wednesday, January 09, 2008
A Customer from Bakersfield, CA
It's your standard HDMI cable. The covering isn't the standard rubber, ut a nylon-type braid. I find that it's strong and flexable. There's no issues routing it to where ever you need to go with it. Gold plated connectors. The only thing that I could complain about (Petty Complaint), is the packaging. It's so fancy, you'd think you were buying a Rolex. But if that's wat you're into, hey, 5 Stars.

5 of 5 Good cable at great value Friday, December 28, 2007
Jacob from Indianapolis, IN
I purchased an $80 cable at Best Buy and a friend told me to return it and buy one on buy.com. I can't say I am a cable expert who has sampled a wide variety, but I can say the visual quality between this cable and the one I returned is the same. It is well insulated, a good length, and most important, provides great picture.

5 of 5 would buy again Friday, December 21, 2007
John from Chicago, IL
Right off the bat, these cables are nicely packaged. Overall construction (I felt) is good. The connectors are strong and sturdy as well as the cable itself is robust having a plastic woven sleeve the entire length. Also, I don't buy the marketing garbage about super-nonresistive-spaceage-gas chamber-top shelf performance. All I care about is the overall experience. These performed top notch for me with crystal clear picture & audio and that is all that matters. One possible downside some might not like is the flexibility of the cable. Because of the plastic weave, unless you uncoil the entire cable fully first, the cable does retain some curvature memory which will make it a little tough to route. But, like I said, if you uncoil the cable and plan how you want to route it in advance, you won't have any problems. Additionally, the connector head is a little bit larger then a plain old cable and that added with the weight of the wire could pose a problem if your HDMI port is mounted horizontally in the rear. It will not pull itself out, but if the tv gets shuffled or moved around a lot, I could see a connector getting damaged. The HDMI ports on my tv are horizontal (42" Westinghouse), but I do not see this as being a problem at all.

Great price for HDMI cables. I connected them to my Dish receiver and HDTV and the picture quality is fabulous. Everything about these cables showed great quality, including the manufacturer packaging they arrived in.

4 of 5 Good buy, but good enough? Wednesday, November 28, 2007
EB from Houston, Texas
A great price for an 3 Meter HDMI cable. However it does meet the latest (HDMI) 1.3 specs. The construction is high quality and will useful in connecting devices that do not have or need the capabilities of HDMI 1.3. As of November 2007, that includes most devices including available HD DVD and Blu-Ray. However, it is not a "future-proof" cable, leading to the question is it good enough.

5 of 5 Great value Wednesday, November 28, 2007
A Customer from Boston, MA
Compared to the $100 or so that high end retailers want for HDMI, this value priced cable is a great deal. Its hard to truly tell if there's picture quality improvement (over the RGB cables I was using previously), but this HDMI cable 'seems' to have improved clarity of both HD and regular digital stations on my 720P/1080i TV

5 of 5 Great cable for the price Thursday, June 14, 2007
John from Newport News, VA
I picked up this moderate length HDMI cable shipped from buy.com and it is a great price for a cable of this quality. It fit the bill perfectly and I see no problems with picture quality using this cable. Don't believe the hype around those 100 dollar HDMI cables, this one will do you fine.

5 of 5 Works great with 1080p HDTV! Friday, March 23, 2007
Reymond Stuward from Seattle, WA
I have tried many HDMI cables including those cost over $200 with my 50" Pioneer Elite and my Denon receiver. This cable performs the best. HDMI is pure digital. Originally I thought all HDMI cables are the same but I was wrong. You have to see it to believe there is a huge difference, particular when you are runing the cable through a receiver. Don't waste your money on those unreasonably priced cables or those cheap generic ones. This is the best investment you can make for your HDTV.

4 of 5 materials a bit low quality for high quality price Wednesday, March 21, 2007
A Customer from Riverside, CA
These cables are one step up from generics but the connectors are plastic and have a low quality feel to them. Once connected they perform quite well and I have no complaints with its performance.

Decent price for the cable. Consider the same cables are being charge at least double out there from other companies, this is a good buy.
