I bought this product to use with my Microsoft Bluetooth 5000 mouse. No complaints at all. Works great.Easy to install. Good product. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a USB Bluetooth Adapter with a low profile. It only protrudes 1/2" from the usb port. It also comes with a blue L.E.D. light to show its working. I've read people complain about it, but it doesn't bother me at all.

I bought this adapter to sync my cell phone with my computer and to use with my stereo bluetooth headset, and it's been working great. Installation was easy and the range has been fairly good, about 30 feet for me. The adapter is tiny but not difficult to remove, when needed. I'm going to get another one for my other computer.

I brought this product to use with my computer and my wireless headphone,cell phone and Ipod classic. It was easy to install and worked well, only problem is that when a phone call comes in while I'm listen to music it does not completely block the music. I still love the product. Without the problem It would have gotten all 5's. The seller JR Music was quick with the mailing.

this thing is great. I plugged it into my usb port and forgot about it. when i want to use the bluetooth i just click on the icon. I dont' have to remove it and put it back everytime i putmy laptop in or out of my bag. its size and shape make it perfect for some one like me with lots of wires and bags, it doesnt catch or snag anything.

I purchased this bluetooth device to exchange information between my computer and my Blackberry phone. However Blackberry phones will only work if you use generic Windows bluetooth software which do not come with this device nor is the software included in Windows Vista. It was a pain trying to locate the software however I was able to find the software on a old usb driver CD. Once the software was installed my phone and computer works great.

The software is a little dated but is very easy to use and I can use Bluetooth for just about anything I need: dial-up from my cellphone, A2DP stereo, Skype, you name it. This little baby works perfect!

Very easy to install. Now have two notebook computers (one running XP and the other running Vista) and a desk top computer connected to one printer. Plugged unit into printer, configured the bluetooth entry, installed the unit in the computers, ran the installation CD and started printing from each computer. Have been looking for something like this for over a year.

5 of 5 Outstanding Bluetooth Adapter - Never Take It Out 7/13/2008

If you're like me and have a laptop computer you probably bought a regular bluetooth adapter (looks a bit like a USB Memory Stick) and your either lost your adapter (from taking it out of the computer to put the laptop in it's bag or it simply broke, probably from sitting the laptop in your lap (funny that - I mean; where do you expect to use your laptop anyway? it IS called a "laptop" right?) or on a soft seat. I've even busted the actual PC's USB jack this way! With all that constant pressure on the device and the port it's just a matter of time 'till you break it and are looking to replace it... If this isn't you - no worries - keep it that way! If this is your 1st BT Adapter for your laptop save yourself the grief and just buy this one. This device only protrudes from the USB port it's attached to approximately a 1/4in. Even nicer, it's rounded on all its edges so it doesn't tend to snag on anything and you're never putting pressure on the device when it's in your lap so it shouldn't ever break. You can leave it in even when you throw it in your laptop bag - no worries... Highly compatible - uses Widcomm Drivers but takes advantage of the Windows BT Management utility - even works well in Vista (32-bit). - Love the BLUE LED which shines through the dark grey case, it lets you know it's working and flashes when it's communicating with your devices... iO Gear makes some really good stuff - very happy with their products overall...

I bought this to replace the bluetooth module HP removed from my dv2000t laptop when they replaced the motherboard. Rather than send it back again and give them an opportunity to screw something else up, I decided to buy this relatively inexpensive item instead. It is indeed tiny and barely sticks out of its USB socket, which is very cool. It almost looks "built-in."
A word of advice; the unit comes with the WIDCOMM Bluetooth software which may not be compatible with all Bluetooth devices. An example is my BlackBerry 7250, which will only work with the Windows stack. However, you can download the Thinkpad bluetooth software from Lenovo that uses the Windows stack...it works great with all my devices.
