5 of 5 Works with Windows Server 2003 Monday, August 10, 2009 Aaron from Sausalito, CA
I questioned whether or not this device would work with Windows Server 2003 as I am using it to switch between two tower servers. Iomega customer service, tech support and pre-sales support were not helpful so I took a chance...it works! Easy to switch using keyboard shortcuts: scroll-lock/scroll-lock/enter switches between machines. Clean looking: only two of the cables are permanently attached so the other two can be added as needed. Self powered and completely silent. My only complaint is minor...it takes several seconds to switch between machines. This being my first KVM switch, I don't know if this is typical of KVMs in general. Overall a great buy. This KVM switch is exactly what I wanted - inexpensive, incredibly easy to set up, and works without a hitch. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works great and trivial setup Wednesday, April 22, 2009 A Customer from Lindon, UT
I couldn't be happier with this kvm switch. The setup was a breeze....just plug in the cables and you're off and running. The keyboard shortcuts are intuitive and I love the feature of being able to have audio from 1 machine and have the rest point to a different machine. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product that does its job right! Sunday, March 29, 2009 A Customer from Seattle, WA
I've owned this switch for nearly a month now and it has been a very satisfying purchase. I use it to regularly switch between 3 PCs and the keyboard shortcuts are very handy.
The switch is fast, faster than I expected, often times I am able to use the pc in 1-2 seconds. The silent changing is also a big plus. The shape of the unit is a nice flat square which is space saving and makes a good mini shelf for other devices.
It's true that a possible flaw is that the light from each LED slightly bleeds into other sections making it hard to be certain which switch you are on, but it's a minor issue.
It's hard to beat the price and performance of this product. Although you can't move backwards through the devices, you can change directly to each device in a 4 key combo. Once you are used to your setup, it is very easy to get the pc you want immediately. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product Saturday, March 14, 2009 Nigel Fairbank from Brooksville, FL
I have been using KVM switches for about 10 years. This is the first one that I have found that works smoothly with all Dell machines.
The cabling is neater than most and it also ships with all four cables.
All-in-all a great device and super value. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Good KVM at any price, great value Sunday, February 22, 2009 Keith from Kansas City, MO
I bought this to replace a Belkin Flip which was nothing but trouble. The IOGear is much more reliable in it's operation, switching to the pc it's supposed to every time. The audio (and option to switch KVM without switching audio) is a big plus I always enjoy in a desktop KVM. My only demerit is for the uni-directional cycling (can't flip from pc 2 to pc 3 and back again, you have to cycle through 4 and 1 to get back to 2) which isn't a big hindrance with only 4 ports anyway. It would be acceptable at twice the price, so at this price point it's an all star. I am very happy with this purchase. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 This is a great product Tuesday, November 25, 2008 Agbey!!!!!!!!!!!! from OR
This KVM which I call KVMS works great right from the box. I use Microsoft Wireless comfort keyboard and mouse. The only thing is sometimes my scroll button does not work right but that is no big deal. I have dual monitor on my main PC so I connected one output to the KVMS and the other directly to another monitor. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Absolutely Love It! Thursday, September 25, 2008 Charly from Chattanooga, TN
I've had 4 or 5 KVM switches over the last 10-15 years and this one works as advertised!
This is my 3rd IOGEAR switch; the other 2 were a PS/2 switch with audio support and a USB switch w/o audio support. Both work/worked fine except the newer USB switch only saw my 8-button Logitech mouse as a standard USB mouse. I couldn't program the different buttons like I did when it was connected to a single PC.
This USB switch lets my PCs see my mouse as it is; programmable! Before, I connected a separate mouse to each computer so I could use the programmable features.
Another neat feature is switching to a new computer and leaving the audio sound on the speakers running from another computer.
I ordered it Tuesday night and got it Thursday night (2nd day delivery for a few dollars more).

5 of 5 Simply works. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 A Customer from Ripley, WV
Bought it, hooked it up, turned it on, and it simply works.....what more could you ask for.
The cables (which unlike the competition were supplied) are very well made and made for a very neat looking hookup. Was great NOT having to buy anything extra.
I'm using a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard and ALL functions work.
I'd recommend this box to anyone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great KVM for the price Wednesday, September 17, 2008 A Customer from Seattle, WA
The cool thing about this model is that it fits under my monitor base(very small), comes with two cables attached and two extras (so you can just use 2 if you are only switching 2 boxes), and is all keyboard controlled. Another nice feature is that you can play music from one machine while using the rest of the KVM on another machine.
I've had two other KVM's and this one has been the best I've owned. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Easy setup, Less cables Monday, August 18, 2008 wfs358 from Middletown, DE
Replaced an old KVM that had PS2 cables. The IOGear install was easy and reduced the cables 3 for 1. Although I had a problem with my Logitec EX110 wireless keyboard/mouse(no scroll lock key) the IOGEAR allowed me to use a different key sequence to switch between PCs. I would recommend it highly. Finally, affordable, good quality KVMs are here. This one works great. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 working great! Wednesday, April 16, 2008 yronbay from New Albany, IN
Very happy with this purchase. It takes just a bit to get used to how it switches between the various pcs (scroll-lock+scroll-lock+number+enter) but it soon becomes reflex. The only downside, and it may be simply the keyboard I'm using, is that it doesn't seem to recognize my number pad keys as valid numbers for specifying the target pc. Instead, I must use the regular numeric keys on the main area of the keyboard. That minor complaint is the only real issue I've had with it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 This is a great item Monday, March 17, 2008 A Customer from Beaverton, OR
The migration of affordable KVM's from simple PS2 without audio to USB including audio has been a long slow one. Before this, I had another brand which had some problems with loosing or sticking some keystrokes.
So far this KVM has been perfect. I am using it with a 24" DELL monitor at a resolution of 1920x1600 without any problems. I also have a smaller two port KVM from IO gear that works great as well. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product Monday, November 19, 2007 Marc from Troy, MO
I bought this KVM to replace a 2 port Belkin Flip that started acting flaky after about 8 months of use. The Iogear works great. Just plug it into your computers and you are good to go. Comes with all you need. Two of the cables are integrated into the KVM and cannot be removed. Comes with two additional that you add as needed. I would highly reccomend this product given the price and ease of use. It is a bit bulky so you probably won't want it on your desk (especially once you plug all the cables in).
Nice job Iogear. Thanks for solving my KVM headaches! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Buy! Monday, August 06, 2007 A Customer from Rolla, MO
This product worked better than expected for my application. I was mostly interested in a Mac solution, but the cross-platform capability is a plus. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice KVM Saturday, May 12, 2007 A Customer from Fairfax, va
high resolution, excellent text, great looks. Only annoyance is switching with standard #'s at top of keyboard instead of keypad. Was this review helpful?
